Best Friends - May 1

How friendly are we? We'll soon find out as we get to another Best Friends edition of Fear Factor. Let's see how friendly everyone will be for $50,000...

Matt Robbins and Sam Arnett (Nashville, TN - Bouncers) - They have the cowboy hats, and the Southern gentlemanly twang. They are good ol' cowboys.

Chase Hoyt and Chelsey Crisp (Los Angeles, CA - Production Company Owners) - They think of themselves as sister and brother. They are also incredibly competitive and want to destroy all opposition. That's not exactly brotherly love...

Bree Andre and Danielle Woodard (Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ - Models) - They're models! They're friends! They're both long-haired brown beauties who will probably be out after the first game! Whoopie!

Dexie Sapp and Dorothy Davis (Alexandria and Lafayette, LA - Aerobics trainer and Office Assistant) - The's African American beauties are bringing the danger! They are coming for the money! Sign their names on the checks now! Let me correct my earlier statement - THEY will be the first people leaving.

We get the spiel from Joe Rogan, and then we get our first stunt - both people will be on beams - one person on the top beam, and the other person on the bottom beam. Both beams are on top of each other. The objective of the stunt - to pass up spigots to the person on the top beam. Those spigots will be used to shut off sprinklers which are spurting out water on the person on the lower beam. The team with the quickest time will select the order of people for the next stunt. The team with the slowest time, or the people who get the least done before one or both of them fall off will be eliminated.

The models start the stunt first. Dorothy catches Dexie cheering them on and the tells her to cut it out immediately. Ouch. They get it done in 4:39 - which I am not sure if it's a good time or not. It did seem a little slow though.

The Cowboy Bouncers are up next. They start off VERY shaky, and it looks like Sam is going to keel over without getting any spigots completed. They do get their act together and finish in 3:36. That's more than a minute better than the models and that guarantees them to go into the next round.

Can Chelsey and Chase guarantee themselves a next round pass as well? The cowboys think that the models will be safe, because someone is going to fall off. That someone will not be either Chelsey or Chase, as they blow through the stunt. Their time is 3:00 exactly and they now take the time lead.

According to Dorothy and Dexie, they are saving the best for last. Well, they aren't the best, because they go past the 3 minute mark. They are, however, good enough, because they finish in 4:03. That is good enough to stay in the game, and that is good enough to send the models packing. At least the models continue the path that most beautiful models take when they are on the show - out the door early.

The second stunt features the three pairs walking into a nice cafe. What's on the menu today? Sausage! What's in the Fear Factor Sausage? Well, the team has to select and whatever's under the serving dish is what they have to eat. No team is getting eliminated, so the team does not have to eat it if they don't want to. If the team does eat what's under there, then they will win a Capital One Credit Card worth various amount of money. One of them is worth $20,000!

Chase and Chelsey select the order, and they decide to go first, because they just want to get it over with. The platters they select? For Chase - stink beetles. For Chelsey - leeches. Joe - 'You have to chew those leeches really well, because they will eat your stomach.' Well, no they won't, but that's a nice thought right there, Joe. As everyone looks on and gags, the couple starts munching away. They finish the meal and they are guaranteed to grab a credit card.

C and C Production Company select the bouncers to go next. Matt gets a worm delight - red worms, super worms and nightcrawlers. Ben gets the seafood delight - fish guts, rotten squid and maggots. That is the gross special and they can't get through half of it before Sam regurgitates it up. Ewwwww. That, obviously, knocks them out of the competition.

That leaves the Double D's against C and C. The D2 will have to get past a sausage of Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches and a sausage of pig eyes and pig's blood. If they don't eat it, then C and C will win the $20,000. Dexie is munching on the pig pieces without a problem, but Dorothy is having a problem eating the cockroaches. Despite Dexie yelling at her, Dorothy can't do it and cockroaches are flying everywhere. Joe tells Dorothy that she doesn't deserve to win the $50,000 as he awards $20,000 to C and C.

Can C and C walk off with $70,000? They can if they complete the final stunt, which is this - both peoples will be driving in cars towards each other. They will then hit a speed curve and start flying down the street. The couple that can fly the furthest will win the money.

The teams will be selected in random order and the Double D's are first. After Joe teases them about even wanting to continue (they do) and that women are bad drivers (they swear they aren't), they start the stunt. Their combined is 252 feet, 11 inches. That sounds like a good record...

...but the Cowboys say that they will beat it, adding that it's their dream to crash cars. Heh. Adam says that the girls don't deserve to win. Well, since you didn't complete the second stunt, you don't deserve to win, either. Well, one team that doesn't deserve to win will be leaving, and it will be...The Bouncers. They wreck their cars for a distance of 225 and they have to go. The Cowboys are pissed that they lost to the Double D's, but lose they did and out they go.

It's C and C Vs. the Double D's. The D's, who now have confidence, start to talk smack in front of Chelsey and Chase, which is probably not the wisest thing to do to a team that has been smoking everyone all day. They continue to smoke the competition as they get a massive 287 feet. They easily win the $50,000, and they sweep everything. Now they can build a music studio to go along with their very successful production company - $70,000 worth of success.
