Episode 4.21 (Couples 6) - February 7

Randy and Tina have a shocking exit. What could be more shocking.... what's under the covers on the picnic tables that the 4 remaining teams are staring at as they come into the room. The good news is that whoever eats the most of what's under the blanket will win a 2 week trip to Belize and the Caribbean. The bad news is what's under the blanket is...

CHALLENGE 1: There is 6 pounds and 8 ounces worth of the stuff. Whoever finishes first or the fastest gets the trip AND selects the order for the elimination stunt. After Joe tells everyone that it's a Plexiglas dish, specialized so that the food can't escape (heh), the couples start... er... Dean and Ashley start, while the other couples quizzically look at the food.

While the women are complaining that they are going to vomit, Dean and Ashley are still chowing down. Andre is eating a lot - but Amirah is not helping. With 5 minutes left, however, Dean quits, and that could be the break that the other teams needed. Would they get it? Here's the tabulations...

Roberto and Leah ate...5 Ounces
Craig and Maria ate...3 ounces, and a squirt of roach from Joe
Dean and Ashley ate...1 pound, 2 ounces
Andre and Amirah ate...1 pound, 8 ounces! Andre and Amirah win!

Dean and Ashley finally get a loss and Andre and Amirah finally win something. They rejoice while Dean is looking sick - but you don't know if that's because he is seething or because he's about to upchuck.

CHALLENGE 2: Some team will be throwing up and away their chances at the million - and Andre and Amirah think it won't be them, because they say they control their own destiny. Here is what is going on, destiny-wise - both people have to maintain their balance via a rope as they maneuver their way down cable cars to collect flags. The quickest team wins $10,000. The slowest team - or the team that picks the least amount of flags - takes the caboose home.

According to everyone's strategy, you pick the team that is the strongest (or the one that they want to see go home) to go first. Dean and Ashley have won almost everything, and Dean and Ashley are considered the favorites to win the whole thing, so Andre and Amirah pick...Roberto and Leah. Wha?

Everyone is stunned, as Andre explains that they will set a good time and put pressure on the other teams. Roberto doesn't buy that for a second, and adds that the team that goes first is usually the one that leaves. Roberto takes it personally, adding that Andre and Amirah want to see them leave - and they say that they will take it out on the stunt. Apparently, they do, because they get all 5 flags in 45.9 seconds.

Dean and Ashley are next up, and they now see the bar that have been laid out for them. Ashley s glad that Andre and Amirah won something, while Roberto would be happy to see a disaster from Dean and Ashley. They blaze through the stunt in 38.8 seconds, but....after grabbing the third flag, Dean grabbed a hold of the beam to catch his fall. That changes their score from 5 to 3 flags in 15 seconds, and it looks like Andre's strategy may have paid off. At least Den and Ashley aren't complaining too much - they are taking it professionally...sort of. Ashley - 'I'm taking it well. It wasn't my fault.' OUCH!

Speaking of which, Andre and Amirah immediately decide to go next. Andre is smirking, because all they have to do is get three flags. First flag, no problem. Second flag - a little shaky, but no problem. Third flag - no problem. Fourth flag...no problem. Fifth flag, no problem. Their time is...wait a sec. Like Dean, Amirah also held on to the tressel, but she held on to it...before getting the first flag. Andre and Amirah get NO flags, as Amirah commits the dumb-ass move of the episode.

Dean and Ashley think it's a miracle. Leah calls Amirah a moron. Craig and Amirah just have to make sure that they don't amputate themselves before the event starts...and they don't. They don't beat Leah and Roberto (as they collect another $10,000), but they stay in the game, which is something that Andre and Amirah don't do. Leah wants to rip herself a new one, but Andre comforts her and says that it was a team effort. At least they got the trip. Let's see what everyone else has...

Dean/Ashley	$40,000, a set of Sony Walkmans, a Jamaican vacation, a set of Jeep Wranglers - and the finger from Randy

Craig/Maria	$0 - but they are still in the competition

Randy/Tina	$10,000 - but they lost their shot at a million dollars -and some maturity
Bobby/Amy	$10,000 - and ELIMINATED VIA SEWAGE
Scott/Lisa	$10,000 - but they are ELIMINATED
Tara/Richard	$0 AND ELIMINATED. Sucks to be you
