4.26 - Contestants Are Dropping Like Flies You've frozen through the winter... You've sneezed through the spring... Now it's batter up for some Big Ball action! Welcome to the summer of WIPEOUT! THE QUALIFIER Tonight, the Qualifier consists of... - The Fly Swatters... it'll whack you
senseless. We start, as always, with 24. We end, as always, with the 12 best times. ADVANCING TO ROUND 2 TOTAL CARNAGE The 12 remaining players will start on an pedestal 10 feet above the water and do their damnedest to avoid three orbiting rings and a multidimensional crankshaft sweeper arm. They'll have to dodge both in order to get to the finish line. First six will win a trip to the next stage. ADVANCING TO ROUND 3 THE WIPEOUT PLAYSET It's a giant toy! How to work it? On this new Playset, we slide into a spinner, then move past the Sweeper Stops, then dive onto the finish while avoiding the windmill. We'll play three rounds, and the winners move on to the Wipeout Zone. ADVANCING TO THE WIPEOUT ZONE THE WIPEOUT ZONE It's the moment you've been waiting for. Only one thing stands between our players and $50,000... A BRAND NEW WIPEOUT ZONE! - The Towering Flume of Doom There's a check in the amount of $50,000 American cash money waiting for the person with the fastest time. First up, Danielle Connolly, who's hoping to throw a victory party on her dinghy. First up, traveling down a flume without a paddle. She misses the chance to exit twice and wipes out. With subsequent wipeouts, she drops anchor at 10:23. Next up, the window whack-job Travis Montgomery, who's been running his mouth in as fast a speed as he's been running the course. And he runs it faster with 4:57! "Sign the check, Anderson!" Before we hit the bank, let's hit it with Bri Geleris. She has a minute for the Great Wall of Fall...
