Episode 4.23 - Boss & Employee
July 28

Today, for one day only, your greatest enemy in the office is your teammate as work-a-day joes and jills take their bosses to the Big Balls. Time to punch in.

THE QUALIFIER

Tonight, the Qualifier consists of...

- The Caterpillar Crossing... It'll knock you on the butterfly.
- Drivers' Ed... Three steering wheels with triple airbags.
- The Big Balls... A brand new Motivator this season is made up of... Big Balls.
- The Jiggle-Lator... Two bridges and one chasm of death.
- The Double Barrel... a double wheel consisting today of... baked goods.

We start, as always, with 12 teams. The six teams with the best times make it to the next stage.

ADVANCING TO ROUND 2
- Marcus Huntley & Sara Yin
- Jay Isbell & Steven Woods
- Rob Tesdahl & Matt Davies
- Ryan Ash & Edgar Lai
- Megan Amaya & Sivan Vardi
- Sean Monahan & Patrick McIntyre

TOTAL CARNAGE

The six remaining teams will start on an pedestal 10 feet above the water and do their damnedest to avoid three orbiting rings and a multidimensional crankshaft sweeper arm. They'll have to dodge both in order to get to the finish line. First three teams will win a trip to the next stage.

ADVANCING TO ROUND 3
- Jay Isbell & Steven Woods
- Ryan Ash & Edgar Lai
- Sean Monahan & Patrick McIntyre

WIPEOUT 500

Run in two heats, the course features Street Sweepers, the Spinnerchange, Stuttering Straightaways, and the finish line. Oh yeah, and they all have to dodge the pit crew on the side. We'll play two rounds, and the winners move on to the Wipeout Zone.

ADVANCING TO THE WIPEOUT ZONE
- Ryan Ash & Edgar Lai
- Sean Monahan & Patrick McIntyre

But due to an injury in the Wipeout 500, x-ray boss Ryan will not compete, meaning that Edgar is automatically eliminated with him. That means taking their place... Jay & Steven.

THE WIPEOUT ZONE

It's the moment you've been waiting for. Only one thing stands between our players and $50,000... A BRAND NEW WIPEOUT ZONE!

- The Towering Flume of Doom
- The Iron Mazen
- The Axle of Evil
- The Great Wall of Fall

There's a check in the amount of $50,000 American cash money waiting for the team with the fastest total time.

First up, maestros of comedy employee Patrick is first. Added incentive if they win... Patrick gets to be boss for a day. He is flawless through the Iron Mazen and the Axle of Evil. After one fall on the Great Wall, he nails a time of 6:56.

Pressure on the shock jocks to put up or shut up. First is boss Jay... who decides to put up. His time... 8:28. One extra wipeout putting his team behind by a slim margin.

Next is Sean. He picks up where Patrick left off. Patrick... wipes out on the Iron Mazen. Twice. Next up, the Axle of Evil... He finally finishes with a time of 28:04.

That gives Steven Woods some 20 minutes to finish the Wipeout Zone to win. He does it in... Actually, he doesn't do it. He quits... and the MAESTROS OF COMEDY SEAN MONAHAN & PATRICK MCINTYRE ARE EMPLOYEES OF THE WEEK WITH $50,000!

More obstacles and more wipeouts next time. Good night... and Big Balls.
