Episode 4.20 - Wheel of Misfortune
July 7

You've frozen through the winter... You've sneezes through the spring... Now it's batter up for some Big Ball action! Welcome to the summer of WIPEOUT!

THE QUALIFIER

Tonight, the Qualifier consists of...

- The Wheel of Misfortune... It'll run you bankrupt.
- The Big Balls... now with Big Ball Motivator
- The Jiggle-Lator... Two bridges and one chasm of death.
- The Double Barrel... a double wheel consisting of a red side and a blue side.

We start, as always, with 24. We end, as always, with the 12 best times.

ADVANCING TO ROUND 2
- Crystal "Sweaty" Ho
- "Disgusting" Andre LaBonte
- Yvette Heagstedt
- Wedding planner Samantha Prince
- "Backdoor" Mike McMahan
- Garrett "Dinner Detective" Kirby
- "Jazz Hands" Chaz Hume
- Russell Shepherd
- Andi "Clean Freak" Perez
- Shasta Jones
- Andrew "Competitive Dad" Leon
- "Tappin' Tony" Lee

TOTAL CARNAGE

The 12 remaining players will start on an pedestal 10 feet above the water and do their damnedest to avoid three orbiting rings and a multidimensional crankshaft sweeper arm. They'll have to dodge both in order to get to the finish line. First six will win a trip to the next stage.

ADVANCING TO ROUND 3
- "Disgusting" Andre LaBonte
- "Backdoor" Mike McMahan
- Garrett "Dinner Detective" Kirby
- "Jazz Hands" Chaz Hume
- Andrew "Competitive Dad" Leon
- "Tappin' Tony" Lee

THE WIPEOUT PLAYSET

It's a giant toy! How to work it? Swing onto the spinning platform via the Swing Set, then move past the Sweeper Stops, then slide down Chutes & Splatters to the finish while avoiding the windmill. We'll play three rounds, and the winners move on to the Wipeout Zone.

ADVANCING TO THE WIPEOUT ZONE
- "Jazz Hands" Chaz Hume
- Andrew "Competitive Dad" Leon
- "Tappin' Tony" Lee

THE WIPEOUT ZONE

It's the moment you've been waiting for. Only one thing stands between our players and $50,000... A BRAND NEW WIPEOUT ZONE!

- The Towering Flume of Doom
- The Iron Mazen
- The Axle of Evil
- The Great Wall of Fall

There's a check in the amount of $50,000 American cash money waiting for the person with the fastest time.

First is Chaz Hands, Chaz Hume. He slips past the exit, but he's one and done on the Iron Mazen. A little sloppy on the Axle of Evil... and wipes out twice. He ends up with a time of nine minutes dead.

Next up... Andrew Leon, who is going up against two high schoolers. Will he get schooled, or will he show the kids what's what? Andrew is down to one more shot on the Wall of Fall... and he beats it for a time of 8:40.

That's the time Tony Lee has to beat. Tony... makes it to the platform, but falls out. Tony needs to make it through clean second time out... and he does. We've got a race. He sticks the landing at the Axle of Evil! He has four minutes to clear the Great Wall of Fall... The final time: 5:34, AND TAPPIN' TONY LEE CRUSHES FOR $50,000 AND THE TITLE OF WIPEOUT CHAMPION!

More obstacles and more wipeouts next time. Good night... and Big Balls.
