The Family that Plays Together
May 15

Tonight, a North Carolina family of six - four sisters and their parents - play for the million if they can beat the minute... Let's meet'em!

They are the CANTER FAMILY from Mint Hill, NC, Brooke, Bailey (13-year-old twins), Taylor (15), Tori (17), Danielle & Barry! Their motto: "Family First".

The aforementioned players are MIKE NEUMANN (San Diego) and MARGIE FOGAL (Orange County, CA).

LEVEL 1: TEMPER TANTRUM: Using pedometers attached to both feet, the contestants must count out 400 clicks within 60 seconds.

As always... "Failure to complete this task in 60 seconds may result in ELIMINATION."

First attempt (Taylor & Tori)... COMPLETE! (678, $1000)

LEVEL 2: KNOCK IT OFF: Using a ball of yarn and a contestant's lassoing skills, the contestant must knock off three out of five top soda cans perched at various heights while keeping the bottom one perched.

First attempt (Brooke)...  COMPLETE! (:51, $2500)

BLUEPRINT BONUS LEVEL 3: SPEED ERASER (1UP): Using a pencil's rubber eraser, the contestants have to bounce six pencils into six glasses each.

First attempt (Brooke & Tori)... FAIL (TIME OUT, TWO Lives remaining)

Second attempt (Brooke & Danielle)... COMPLETE! (:31, $5000, THREE lives remaining)

LEVEL 4: ON THE REBOUND: A contestant must shoot a ping-pong ball off of a clipboard attached to their partner and into a wastebasket. This must be done THREE times.

First attempt (Brooke & Tori)...  COMPLETE! (:47, $10,000)

BLUEPRINT BONUS LEVEL 5: SPOON FROG (:10): A contestant must use a teaspoon to launch another teaspoon into a glass. This must be repeated TWICE each.

First attempt (Brooke & Bailey)...  COMPLETE! (:45, $50,000, extra time banked)

LEVEL 6: THE NUTSTACKER: A nut is useless without a bolt. A chopstick is useless without another. Using only a chopstick, contestants must stack 10 nuts vertically on a table to form a 10-nut stack.

First attempt (Bailey)... FAIL (TIME OUT, TWO lives remaining)

EXTRA TIME GO! Second attempt (Bailey)... FAIL (KNOCK OUT, ONE life remaining)

FINAL attempt (Bailey)... COMPLETE! (:01, $75,000)

LEVEL 7: CANTAGIOUS: In one hand, a stack of empty soda cans three high. In another hand, a stack of full soda cans three high. Using dexterity, move the cans from one hand to the other until both stacks have been switched. You may NOT set the cans down or use your body for leverage.

First attempt (Taylor)...  FAIL (KNOCK OUT at :31, GAME OVER). But they do walk away with $50,000. Another set of try-at-home challenges Wednesday!
