Couples Showdown It's Couple versus Couple in the 60-Second Circle! Two couples will enter for a best-of-seven, but only one will win! First up, LEILA JELLOULE & MARCUS WILLIAMS. They're both teachers from LA who have been laid off recently. They'll face off against JENNIFER & RYAN MCCALL from Detroit. Jennifer has just had her fourth baby. They have no fridge, but they're hoping to change that today. Remember, it's the first to four. H2H LEVEL 1: BREW-HA-HA: One player from each couple must arrange four paper coffee cups on an inclined table so that a roll of one will trigger a chain reaction ending in the final cup being deposited in a waste bucket. And as always, "Failure to complete this task in 60 seconds may result in ELIMINATION." First up, it's MARCUS vs. JENNIFER. Winner.... by a hair, MARCUS! (Marcus/Leila up, 1-0) H2H LEVEL 2: PAPER DRAGON: Using only your arms and hands, a contestant must unwind two rolls of party streamers. If the delicate paper tears, you may pick it up and start again. It's MARCUS vs. JENNIFER again... Winner... JENNIFER! (Tie game, 1-1) H2H LEVEL 3: A BIT DICEY: One player must balance six dice on a popsicle stick using only their mouths. The stack must be held for a three-count. Both couples switch, so LEILA takes on RYAN. Winner... RYAN (Jennifer/Ryan lead, 2-1) H2H LEVEL 4: TIPSY: Balance three soda cans on their beveled edge for a three-count. It cannot be done when the can is full, so you must drink the right amount to allow balance. MARCUS & JENNIFER compete again.. Winner: MARCUS (tied again, 2-2) H2H LEVEL 5: BOUNCER: A contestant must bounce a ping-pong ball into a pint glass ten times. It's the guys doing all the bouncing. Winner... MARCUS (Marcus/Leila lead, 3-2) H2H LEVEL 6: BOTTLE NECKIN': The contestant must balance four two-liter soda bottles neck to neck, end to end, to build a tower that must be held for a three count. It's all about the guys again... Winner... RYAN! (Tie game, 3-3) This is for all the marbles. H2H L EVEL 7: PADDLE POPPERS: The contestants must use ping-pong balls to pop three paddles in a shooting-gallery.It's LEILA vs. RYAN for $50,000 and the right to continue. WINNER... LEILA! (Marcus/Leila win, 4-3, $50,000). Jennifer & Ryan leave with $1000, but Marcus & Leila continue to... LEVEL 6: KER-PLINK! OR PLUNK!: As a team, the players must bounce marbles into a dish in a punch bowl filled with water. Using the proper trajectory will result in a "ker-plink", but a marble in the water will result in "ker-plunk". They must land enough marbles to sink their dish. First attempt... FAIL (TIME OUT, TWO lives remaining). Second attempt... FAIL (TIME OUT, TWO lives remaining).FINAL attempt.. FAIL (TIME OUT, GAME OVER). But the two take $50,000 banked from the head to head. Next week, CBS Studio Center is transformed into the Staples Center for a different kind of Lakers game.
