With the tribe now one big
happy family, there were two things certain: Katie is
the odd woman out, and Ciera/Laura are the last pair
standing. Another thing we've learned... Ciera is not
above voting out her own mother JUST to secure her space
in the game, something the tribe was pretty much non-plussed
about coming back from Tribal.
NIGHT 26: Throw Momma from the
tribe
... but at the same time,
Tyson is now scared of her, because she's playing the
game.
On Redemption Island,
Tina reunites with Laura M... and Laura M reunites with
Redemption Island. She still doesn't know what to make
of Ciera writing her name down. On the one hand, she's
back at Redemption Island. On the other hand, Ciera is
now playing the game for real. And now my eyes are
crossed.
DAY 27...
REDEMPTION DUEL: Cube
Crossing
Vytas, Laura, and Tina
must traverse four cubes across a net tunnel. Then the
competitors must arrange those cubes in such a way that
their colored sides will not match up on a four-cube
totem. The two quickest will live to see day 28. The
loser joins Aras on the jury.
WINNERS... TINA.... and
then by virtue of Tina helping Laura... LAURA! Vytas is
out of the game, but he will join his brother on the
jury, which could be pivotal.
Back at camp, the Kasama
are applauding the moms. The next votes are going to be
critical. Right now, Tyson thinks that the best thing
that he can do for himself is keep everyone against
Katie. Right now, it's him, Hayden, Gervase, Ciera, and
Caleb. But you don't want to wait too long and be that
guy who gets blindsided himself. Hayden lets Caleb in on
that and tells him that it's time to make a move....
against Tyson.
Caleb goes to Katie with
this new information, saying that he's going to
blindside the ringmaster. Katie says that she feels like
a hermit crab looking for a shell, but her options are
looking better by aligning herself with the former
Tadhanas.
Caleb goes to Ciera with
the SAME STORY PLUS a final three deal with her and
Hayden. But it's too sketchy for her, so she just tells
everyone what they want to hear. So she goes to Tyson
with his information. They have each other's backs. They
trust Gervase and maybe Monica. They decide to flip it
on Hayden or Caleb. Tyson may have to lock his game down
down DOWN. Right now now NOW... Because Ciera is a wild
card.
NIGHT 27: "Every single vote
'til the end."
Tyson and Gervase decide
to bump out Caleb. Two days ago... controlled chaos.
Now... CHAOS. Hayden and Caleb were trying to stir the
pot, but they, and this is Gervase talking, "got
sloppy". And nobody likes sloppy seconds.
DAY 28: No One Sleep in
Philippines
Ciera and Tyson go to get
the Treemail. At that time, Hayden and Caleb solidify
their plan... and so do Tyson and Ciera, who notes that
"A) they're gunning for him, and B) I saved him, and C)
he doesn't want to be sitting next to them anyway."
... oh right, the letter!

ARE YOU ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY?
DO YOU HAVE A GRIP ON THIS GAME?
YOU'D BETTER HOLD ON FOR DEAR LIFE
OR TONIGHT, YOU COULD LOSE YOUR FLAME |

So what if
Ciera flips? Hayden says he could be in big trouble. So
he goes to get an insurance marker from Katie. She
thought voting Tyson was her best option, but in the
end, voting Ciera could help her game out as a plan B.
Well, you
know what they say about the company you keep...
DAY 29...
IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: Eat or
Compete
There are seven sand
buckets, each one clocking in at a quarter of your body
weight. Using a wench-pulley system, you will have to
hold your grip for as long as possible. If you let go
and crack your tile, you are out. Last one standing wins
Immunity.
HOWEVER, there is one
twist. If you are so confident in your position in the
game that you don't want to risk it by playing, you can
sit and feast for the duration of the challenge.
Taking Jeff's offer to
eat... Gervase, Tyson, and Ciera.
WINNER: MONICA!
Back at camp, the tribe
is celebrating win #3 for Monica Culpepper. Hayden notes
that Tyson, Gervase, and Ciera all chose to eat, so it's
telling. He tells Katie that she can't be trusted. It's
three against four, and now it's time to come up with a
plan. Hayden says to Caleb that they need to be in the
majority. He decides to turn the entire camp on Ciera.
Hayden and Caleb tell
Tyson about Ciera. Tyson talks about what Ciera's plans
are. She's playing both sides, and she's a good liar. Is
she pitting the guys against each other? Is it time to
cut her off before she can cause more trouble? Or is
Tyson still a little leery about trusting Hayden and
Caleb. Caleb wonders if Hayden is still playing his own
game. "Hopefully everyone is on board, and Ciera is
going home tonight. She should've picked a side and
stuck with it."
Tyson tells Gervase about
Hayden/Caleb's plans. Someone's lying around here. It's
either Hayden and Caleb... or Ciera. At this time, it's
time to play with your gut, which is scary, because if
you trust the wrong person, you're going home.
NIGHT
29: TRIBAL COUNCIL
Is there any harmony left
in the alliance of 7? He's a little bit jealous of the
three that ate, because he doesn't feel as safe as they
do. Caleb wasn't shocked at all at who decided to eat.
Ciera thought that she was not going to win this
challenge. Tyson was a bit surprised as more people
weren't eating. Trust... Gervase trusts people, but he's
hoping a few people keep their word. Hayden thinks he
trusts Gervase. Ciera doesn't feel like she's trusted.
Tyson would be shocked if he was voted out. Caleb...
thinks that there's going to be a blindside. Ciera would
be shocked if it was her.
TIME TO VOTE.
Caleb: CIERA - "You just
ran your mouth way too much in the past few days".
That's one. The others...
RIGHT AFTER TYSON PLAYS THE IDOL! .... eventually....
There it is. All votes counted against Tyson are now
invalid.
... Tyson's name doesn't
come up once. By a vote of 4-3.... CALEB BANKSTON, THE
TRIBE HAS SPOKEN.
Next week, it's Tina,
Laura, and Caleb for another shot at Redemption.
