So far... all-stars and
family members were split into two, then mixed around,
and now... we have ourselves a family reunion... which
of course can only mean one thing. A good old fashioned
blindside. Aras is now at Redemption Island waiting for
someone to join him. Meanwhile, Tyson has found the
Hidden Idol. Will he use it? HOW will he use it? NIGHT 21: "Aras did not see that coming... and neither did I." Vytas has one thing on his mind... revenge. It was a bold move and it worked. Tina believes that Monica and Tyson won the battle, but not the war. Tyson believes that Survivor broke his heart twice before... He was never taken to the end, and he knew that Aras was never going to do that either. But between then and now he fell in love again. He's thinking: "Tina, if everyone played the game like you do, I would win 100 percent of the time." DAY 22: Tina gets told... Tina made her bed with the wrong bedfellows, and now she's getting ready for the possibility that she may take Katie down with her. Katie says that she needs to build her own alliance. How do you sell yourself when your mother is a piss-poor player who lucked herself into the million the first go-round? Answer? TIME TO THROW MOMMA FROM THE TRAIN. IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: Lunch Time! It's a Survivor classic, the SECOND Immunity Challenge ever played... reimagined. Gervase, you're not stranger to this. The object, partake on local delicacies. Round 1: you will eat... 40 mealworms! First three to get all of them down will move on. Winner... Tyson, Monica, and Vytas, after having dropped a few on the ground. Round 2: you guys will eat the same thing. And Tina's are making a break for it. Gervase is jumping and Ciera is gagging. Winner... Hayden, Gervase, and Caleb (Tina and Ciera forfeit) Round 3: You will partake upon... pig intestines. Better known in the south as "chitterlings" ... FINE, CHITLINS. TWO will advance. Winners... Monica... and Gervase! FINAL ROUND: For dessert... TWO grubs! Remember 13 years ago, Gervase could not stomach ONE! WINNER... MONICA! BACK AT CAMP... Oh, did we mention that Tribal Council is tonight? The plan on Laura's side of the world: four votes for Vytas, three for Katie. Will Tyson tell Laura of the Idol, or will he keep it to himself so as to protect himself? Vytas knows he's a target... and makes it a point to ask around if he is indeed the one to go tonight. The answer: "Either you or Katie." Katie, meanwhile, needs to figure out a different game plan, one that does not involve Tina. Monica, meanwhile, notes that there are a lot of scrambles going on given the seven votes that are seemingly locked. Laura: "What the hell do you care? You got a necklace!" It shows how paranoid she is. Vytas continues to make to Tyson a few valid points about pairs still in the game AND promising a jury vote, all he has left. Tyson's main concern: an all-girl alliance could form. Sending a girl home would keep the numbers in his favor, so he would like to see Katie go home to help his game. He doesn't want to be seen as the kingpin, though. He's got to be careful tonight. NIGHT 22: TRIBAL COUNCIL Well this was a quick episode. Tina notes that she called Tyson and Monica when she should've kept her mouth shut. Vytas says that he is his brother's keeper and if Aras gets voted out, you are next. Gervase understands where Vytas is coming from. Seniments that Monica "fell for" right away. Monica throws it back into his face by accusing Vytas of flopping on Brad when he was in the tribe. Vytas... accuses Monica of breaking trust. Katie says that it's safe to assume that it's her, Tina, or Vytas tonight. Vytas says that the power lies with Tyson and Gervase. He's playing ALL of the hands tonight. TIME TO VOTE. Monica: VYTAS - "What up, Brad." One vote for Vytas. One for Katie. One for Tyson... And the rest of them are going to VYTAS. VYTAS BASKAUSKAS... THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN. You can join Aras in Redemption Island. BACK AT CAMP... Monica was told to vote for Katie... BUT with the reaming she got, she changed her vote. Gervase notes that if anything happened because of that, he would've lost it. Don't rock the vote. One more move like that, and Gervase will target HER. DAY 23: REDEMPTION BROTHERS Vytas and Aras... two brothers... both guilty by association with each other. Aras would be just as happy to get out of redemption as if Vytas was... Vytas... can't say he says the same thing. DAY 24... IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: Sword vs. Coins Another Survivor Classic reimagined. Stack coins on the hilt of a sword. Last one standing wins. Monica is the first to drop her coin... followed by Ciera... Tina... Gervase... Laura... Caleb... Then Tyson and Hayden. WINNER: KATIE! Katie is safe from the vote, which buys her enough time to pull an alliance out of her ass. Tyson is going to see what Tina is doing taking off into the forest. Answer: looking for an Idol that isn't there. She's quick. We'll give her that. That's all Tyson will give her. And that's all Tyson will give anyone. Tina was RIGHT THERE at the RIGHT SPOT... but Tyson was there first. Tina decides to stay at the location for a while, just to throw off anyone who believes that she may not have the Idol. Back at camp, Monica is trying the whole vote split thing again. But between who? It could be her! Tyson says they can't split the vote, because Monica would feel on the bottom, and she's too wild a wild card to be on the bottom. "Loose cannons will always shoot off," Gervase agrees, "and nine times out of ten, they're gonna sink something you're riding in." So now Monica is on the outs, which seems to be an easy decision. NIGHT 24: TRIBAL COUNCIL PART 2: ELECTORAL BOOGALOO We've gone from a clear alliance of seven to Tina in trouble. All she could do is try to find the Idol... with some stalkers looking onward. She had free time from her captors... "Twice today." TMI. Her other avenue: finding the crack in the wall. She calls out Monica: "Lady, you're on the bottom." Monica doesn't feel that way. Monica responds by outing EVERY PAIR IN THE GAME! There's your crack. Hayden thinks that if Tina has the idol, then someone out of the seven is going home. Monica says that it's a silly plan, because she is extremely trustworthy. Tina says that Monica is not crucial to numbers. "The only way to ensure there would be a blindside is that if I found the Idol." TIME TO VOTE. Katie: MONICA Tina... DID NOT find the Idol. ... she's going to find the exit. With five votes, TINA WESSON... THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN. Next week, it's Tina, Aras, and Vytas for another shot at Redemption.
