The old saying goes, "Blood
is thicker than water". This fall, that statement is put
to the ultimate test as 10 of the game's greatest
tribesmen return for another round. And this time, it's
a family way, as they have invited one loved one to
compete alongside... or so they think.

Santa Monica, CA)
The game begins... with a
note.

THE GAME HAS BEGUN. TONIGHT IS
YOUR FIRST NIGHT ON THE ISLAND. WITHOUT ANY SUPPLIES, YOU MUST RELY ON YOUR
LOVED ONE FOR PROTECTION, COMFORT & SURVIVAL.
AT DAY BREAK FOLLOW YOUR MAP TO THE BEACH WHERE YOU
WILL RECEIVE FURTHER INSTRUCTION. |

... Nighty
night, kids. Tomorrow, the fireworks REALLY pop off.
DAY 1: And so it
begins... again.
The good news is that you are playing with your loved
one. So says the ultimate game master, Jiffy Probst...
The bad
news...
GALANG
Aras
Candice
Colton
Gervase
Kat
Laura M.
Monica
Rupert

The even WORSE news... you're voting
someone out RIGHT NOW.
And it's not even close on the Family
side. By a vote of 5-1, it's Laura. On the Galang tribe...
Candice: LAURA
Tyson: LAURA
Tina: CANDICE
Kat: CANDICE
Colton: CANDICE
Rupert: LAURA
Monica: CANDICE
Aras: GERVASE ("I'm a Redskins fan")
Laura: CANDICE
And Candice joins Mrs. B on the
sidelines. But the game is NOT over for them YET. Because GUESS WHO'S
BACK! It's Redemption Island, baby! They will be the first two people on
Redemption Island... but before they go, it's time to put the idea of
Blood vs. Water to the ultimate test. Your loved one can take your spot
on Redemption Island in return for putting them back into the game on
THE OTHER TRIBE.
Rupert decides to take Laura's spot, so
Laura will head to the Galang Tribe. As for John... yeah, he's staying
put. So Candice and Rupert will take each other on in the first
Redemption Duel.
The Galang Tribe makes their way to their
camp... and Gervase notes that of all the people to play this game, he
has the longest time riding pine, so to speak. Thirteen years. I was a
junior in college. Think about that. Now Gervase didn't want to play
with Laura. He wanted to play with Rupert. So she's going to have to
prove herself. Something she's not above doing. She admits, though, that
she's not like Rupert. How will this affect her game? We'll find out as
we begin to make fire and shelter.
Both are ready within minutes, and morale
is surprisingly high.
Monica gets to play "Survivor" not once..
but twice.. and both times with Colton. She can take this as awkward, or
she can take this as an asset. She opts... for the latter. "Does a zebra
change its stripes? Am I once again going to be bamboozled? I don't
know!"
NIGHT 1:
Two different shades of grey...
Colton left on the worst possible terms
in this game when he played it. He's trying to think differently this go
round. He's going to play the game without a mask of insecurity. It
helps that he is now in a place unlike Alabama, where he can freely
exercise his homosexuality with no barriers (Hi, Alabama. How you doin'.)
DAY 2: OVER ON REDEMPTION ISLAND!!!...
Candice has one thing on her mind..
REVENGE. Well, two things. One, REVENGE! And two... Rupert not doing
much. He says he kills himself for the tribe, but in order to win at
Redemption Island, he's going to need all the energy he can muster. To
that end... NAP TIME!
DAY 3: One flag to bind them
all..
It isn't game time until... TREE MAIL!
|
WILL YOU CHOOSE TO STEP
FORWARD?
TO RUN, JUMP AND SWIM.
WILL YOU PADDLE STRAIGHT THE FIRST TIME?
YOUR CHANCES ARE PRETTY SLIM.
OR SHOULD YOU ASSEMBLE THE
PIECES?
TO MAKE THE FLAG RELEASE SPIN.
WILL YOU BE VOTED OUT TONIGHT?
WELL, NOT IF YOU WIN!! |

I-CHALLENGE:
Runner Runner
After Laura B trades her red rags for a yellow one, we
get the lowdown...
Six tribesmen will swim
through a watery obstacle course to a boat. Then they
will paddle the boat, and the puzzle pieces thereupon,
to shore. The other three will put together a ship's
wheel puzzle. The first tribe to use the wheel to raise
their tribal flag wins another round in this game.
Meet Mr. Ugly!
In addition, you will
also win flint for your tribe.
The Galangs are the first to start
paddling to shore... and after having to watch Gervase struggle in the
water... they can't even paddle together. "SHUT UP AND PADDLE BEFORE I
HIT YOU WITH THIS (TURKEY BASTING) PADDLE!" Thanks for that, Colton!
Now it's to the puzzle. The good news...
Laura Morett is a puzzle fiend. The vets retake the lead... and they're
not giving it back. Time for the two moms (Laura & Tina) to school their
daughters.
WINNER: Galang. The bad news... now your
loved ones are in jeopardy. Welcome to Survivor, kids. It's lonely at
the top.
NIGHT 3:
Tribal Council...
All we will say here is
two things...
1) That thing about
Tadhana having fire? Yeah, Hayden was bluffing his ass
off.
2) Marissa is voted out... and the count is unanimous.
She will join Rupert and Candice on Redemption Island.
