DAY 18: "Well, thanks for having my back, guys."

Vytas says that he and the rest of the women are now a unit "and if it goes down tomorrow, then that's a majority." Of course that's not what he feels, but that's what he's saying. This is called playing the game. Tina says that loyalty should be rewarded.

Oh, and Monica... you're #5.

On Redemption Island, Laura B arrives, thinking her vote-out was "ridiculous". No good deed goes unpunished, and that goes double in the game of Survivor. "And the merge should be tomorrow! And the guys on the other tribe... they're going to take out the girls!"

Get your shovels and your head-lamps, because IT'S GOING DOWN.

REDEMPTION DUEL: Get a Grip

The winner of today's duel will re-enter the game and get a second chance at $1 million.

Hang on to a pole for as long as you can. If any part of your body touches the ground, you're OUT of the game. Last one hanging is BACK IN.

Out first in 20 minutes.... JOHN CODY. Now it's all about the Lauras.

Out next... LAURA BONEHAM. LAURA MORETT, you are back in the hunt.

One more bit of business.... "DROP YOUR BUFFS. WE ARE MERGED!" The color is purple.

Oh yeah, and the hidden Immunity Idol clue. Laura can keep this or... just... throw... it... in the fire.

Aras' strategy: Galang Strong. The original five plus Vytas and Katie. That's seven. Will it hold?

Back at camp, the party begins. All the while, Hayden is fearful of coupling within the tribe among the families and loved ones. That would be Laura/Ciera, Aras/Vytas, and Tina/Katie. But it all hinges on Ciera. ... and Laura M, apparently.

Ciera thinks that, because Laura M was voted out, it could hurt her game. She admits to mom that she's in an alliance with Caleb, Hayden, Tyson, and Gervase, and that Aras is next to go. "Just don't play hard."

You got to act fast come merge time. Tyson has all the info about the immunity idol. He thinks that it's at the giant serpent tree at the waterfall.... FOUND IT!

Aras & Vytas are talking about going deep into the game with Tina, Katie, Monica, and Gervase. And Tyson is #7. So we have two conflicting plans. One of them is a lie. Aras doesn't trust Laura on account of how scary she is. It would be an easy vote to get rid of one of the bros right now. "Blood vs. Water should be called, in the end, Vytas vs. Aras."

NIGHT 19: I Am Number Five

Monica and Tyson are strategizing about how to get Aras out.... but she likes to repeat the same idea over and over... Never mind that it's a bad one. This goes against everything she learned about Survivor... overtalking and overplaying. She is not sure about anything right now.

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: Jeff Says

Jeff will show you a series of symbols. You will have to repeat those symbols using your cube. Get it wrong, you're out. Last one standing wins immunity.

Round 1 (six items): Monica is out on the second item. Caleb and Katie are out on the third item. Tyson and Tina are out on the fourth item. Hayden is out on the fifth item.

Round 2 (seven items): Laura is out on the second item. Ciera is out on the third. Down to Aras, Vytas, and Gervase. Gervase is out on the fifth. Down to the Super Baskauskas Brothers.

WINNER..... VYTAS!

DAY 21: Mistakes made

Back at camp, we have the new tribe name... KASAMA.

Vytas says that if you need Immunity, it means that you made mistakes. The only mistake he's made so far.... beating his brother. He's planning on the boys voting for Laura M, while the girls are voting for Ciera, who's worried that mom is having too much to think again, particularly about why Aras is so chill all of a sudden. Does HE have the Idol? Of course not. We know Tyson has the Idol.

The plan with Tyson and Gervase... Those two, plus Monica, Hayden, Ciera, Caleb, and Laura M vote for Aras. But Gervase is not sure that everyone is on the same page.

NIGHT 21: TRIBAL COUNCIL

So we have the original tribe... the new tribe... and blood vs. water. Tyson wishes he could work with his partner. Aras says that there are 11 people, and six of them have to make a decision tonight. Hayden notes that you often get voted out again after you come from Redemption, and that any pair is a swing. Katie says that she came into the merge knowing who she's going to work with. That's a threat to the five who have no loved ones. Laura's best play... using her loved one. "Ciera is a great social player." Ciera thought that as role reversal. Gervase thinks that a lot will change after this vote for the dumber players.

TIME TO VOTE.

Katie: CIERA - "We've been friends since the beginning. But I'm sorry."
Gervase: ARAS - "This is my power move in the game. I love you like a brother, but that's just how it is."
Aras: LAURA - "I voted you out once. I might as well vote you down twice."

Next question... does Tyson play the hidden Idol tonight? No. So it's 1 for Ciera, Aras, and Laura.

The rest... Laura... Ciera... Aras... Aras.... Aras <3....and ARAS. Blindsided. "Well played, guys. Well played."

Aras Baskauskas... THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN. But Redemption Island is still in play.
