Episode 3.31
February 11

Some two months ago, the Million Dollar Mission began with two cases... Now we're pushing it to 11. Will someone take the Banker for the big prize?

First up tonight, TAMIKA KENDALL. She's brought with her a magic wand, and she's not afraid to use it. She's presently raising a princess, Makayla (that's her wand). She compares DOND to some sort of fairy tale. Should this fairy tale have a happily ever after, she wants to have a dream princess wedding.

One night only... 11 cases have $1,000,000. Is one of them case #17?

?
17

Tamika's case

Starting with six...

2 - $50
3 - $1,000,000... 10 left
9 - ... Make that nine. $1,000,000
8 - $750
10 - "It's okay, but you got more." $1,000,000. Eight more
11 - $1,000,000. Seven more.

Four $1 million cases. Still got seven left, meaning we're going to get a big offer... we hope. Banker's first offer... the Big Bad Wolf offers...

BANK OFFER
$146,000

$ 0.01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 1,000,000
$ 10 $ 1,000,000
$ 25 $ 1,000,000
$ 50 $ 1,000,000
$ 75 $ 1,000,000
$ 100 $ 1,000,000
$ 200 $ 1,000,000
$ 300 $ 1,000,000
$ 400 $ 1,000,000
$ 500 $ 1,000,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

It's enough for a house, but not quite for that dream wedding as well, so ... NO DEAL!

Five more cases.

1 - Fake out. $500
12 - MAGICAL BANOODLES!
19 - $1,000,000. Six more.
18 - ... Make that five. $1,000,000
24 - ... or four. $1,000,000

Now it's a draw board, which is a dream come true to the Banker, who raises the offer just so...

BANK OFFER
$171,000

$ 0.01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 1,000,000
$ 10 $ 1,000,000
$ 25 $ 1,000,000
$ 50 $ 1,000,000
$ 75 $ 1,000,000
$ 100 $ 1,000,000
$ 200 $ 1,000,000
$ 300 $ 1,000,000
$ 400 $ 1,000,000
$ 500 $ 1,000,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

Helping Tamika out in her decision are Lakeya (BFF), "Prince Charming" (fiancee), and Cynthia, the not-so-wicked mother-in-law. They all say "no deal". Tamika agrees, so we continue with four.

25 - $1000
23 - $25
22 (Crystal) - $1,000,000... Three left
4 - $1

First two offers were houses. Third offer...

BANK OFFER
$195,000

$ 0.01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 1,000,000
$ 10 $ 1,000,000
$ 25 $ 1,000,000
$ 50 $ 1,000,000
$ 75 $ 1,000,000
$ 100 $ 1,000,000
$ 200 $ 1,000,000
$ 300 $ 1,000,000
$ 400 $ 1,000,000
$ 500 $ 1,000,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

A house. Three cases to open, three MDCs left. That's a wedding and a house. But there is a 27% chance that Tamika is holding onto more than the offer. The fairy tale is the home and the wedding, but we need horses for that carriage. NO DEAL!

5 - $100
13 - $300
20 - "Oh man... How's this!" $5

It's a dealer's board, which means that the banker has to raise the offer. We give him time to put together an offer... And here comes a couple of his drones now. This can only be bad...

BANK OFFER
$266,000

$ 10 $ 5,000
$ 75 $ 1,000,000
$ 200 $ 1,000,000
$ 400 $ 1,000,000

... and a frog. "If you are a princess, and you're willing to kiss a frog, he will double the size of the offer." Audience wants to see a kiss... Tamika's scared... Some princess.

NO DEAL. And no kiss either.

6 - $400
7 - $1,000,000.... Two left.

There's still a one-in-three chance at a million. There's still a safety net. There's still the banker.

BANK OFFER
$217,000

$ 10 $ 5,000
$ 75 $ 1,000,000
$ 200 $ 1,000,000
$ 400 $ 1,000,000

She still has a safety net, but the offer dropped. This offer is her house, her wedding, and then some. Cynthia says no deal... Tamika goes for that... not by the hair on her chinny-chin-chin.

26 - $1,000,000... One left.

Next offer...

BANK OFFER
$166,000

$ 10 $ 5,000
$ 75 $ 1,000,000
$ 200 $ 1,000,000
$ 400 $ 1,000,000

There's an 80% chance that Tamika has less than the offer. The fiancé says "Let's go home."

We do. DEAL for $166,000. That's a lot of money and a happy ending, but was it a good decision?

Lisa L. had $75. The new offer.. $255,000. Pilar had $200. The new offer... $367,000. Brooke had ... the last MDC. In Tamika's case...

$10

Tamika's Deal
$166,000

A great deal!

We soldier on with RYAN "Rhino" CLEGHORN, a firefighter from Oklahoma, who's on a game that has obviously been edited into this episode (Howie and the models are dressed differently). He's here to support the little kid he has on the way. He works two jobs just so that the wife doesn't have to.

Rhino's playing with 12 million dollar cases. Is one of them... case #10?

?
10

Ryan's case

Starting with six...

18 - $1,000,000... 11 left.
24 - $200
7 - $5
16 (Lisa L) - $1,000,000.... 10 left.
1 - $1,000,000... Nine left
22 - $300

Rhino's got a big offer coming his way. He's got nine big cases left, and the banker is willing to pay out the wazoo for Rhino... who also sells ladies' shoes... to leave.

BANK OFFER
$189,000

$ 0.01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 1,000,000
$ 5 $ 1,000,000
$ 10 $ 1,000,000
$ 25 $ 1,000,000
$ 50 $ 1,000,000
$ 75 $ 1,000,000
$ 100 $ 1,000,000
$ 200 $ 1,000,000
$ 300 $ 1,000,000
$ 400 $ 1,000,000
$ 500 $ 1,000,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

Ryan's been in a lot of extreme situations, especially one in which he used CPR to bring someone back to life. Karma in action, as this offer could change his life. Still, though... NO DEAL!

14 - $10
26 - "Sorry..." $1,000,000... Eight left.
4 - $750.
19 - BANOODLES!
11 - $1,000,000... Seven left.

It's still a good round, and the offer should reflect that. It is...

BANK OFFER
$222,000

$ 0.01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 1,000,000
$ 5 $ 1,000,000
$ 10 $ 1,000,000
$ 25 $ 1,000,000
$ 50 $ 1,000,000
$ 75 $ 1,000,000
$ 100 $ 1,000,000
$ 200 $ 1,000,000
$ 300 $ 1,000,000
$ 400 $ 1,000,000
$ 500 $ 1,000,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

That's almost a quarter-million. Who would know better what to do with it than people who slide in from the rafters: Kevin (co-worker and brother-in-law), Shannon (sister), and Valerie (wife). They all want the Rhino to charge on, and so he shall... NO DEAL!

2 - $1,000,000... Six left
6 - ... Oops, meant five. $1,000,000
8 - "Oh my gosh..." $1,000,000
13 - $75

It's still a player's board, because next round has four MDCs and three picks. The banker drops the offer to...

BANK OFFER
$200,000

$ 0.01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 1,000,000
$ 5 $ 1,000,000
$ 10 $ 1,000,000
$ 25 $ 1,000,000
$ 50 $ 1,000,000
$ 75 $ 1,000,000
$ 100 $ 1,000,000
$ 200 $ 1,000,000
$ 300 $ 1,000,000
$ 400 $ 1,000,000
$ 500 $ 1,000,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

Not a steep drop. There's still a 64% chance that Ryan is sitting on $1000 or less. There's no stopping the Rhino. But there's plenty of stopping for us. This decision will have to wait until next time.
