3.23: Million Dollar Mission II.1
January 2
We've done it before... and it didn't pan out well. Tonight, we're doing it
again! The Million Dollar Million is back!
And the first player to try his hand... WILL JIMENO. Will's from Chester, NJ,
where he's a retired Port Authority police officer. He was actually underneath
the rubble of the World Trade Center on 9/11. If anyone deserves a million, it's
this hero.
He wants to give back to injured police officers.
Tonight's game is being played with two million dollar cases. Is one of them
#15, the combination of his girls' ages? Let's find out.
Now to open six more.
13 - $50
1 - $400
21 - "Pequenito!" That was not really small. $1,000,000
10 - $100
25 - $200,000
6 - $25,000
Two big cases gone, five remain. The banker's opening gambit is...

Will is a bowhunter. $44,000 is a lot, but he's aiming for bullseye. NO DEAL.
Before we open another five cases, Will demonstrates his mad bow skills on a
figure of the banker with an apple on its head. And no "Tell"-ing, Will's got
skills. But how will he do with five cases to go?
17 - $25
3 - $50,000
23 - "Perfecto!" $10
7 - $75,000
20 - $200
And here's the banker again. "Remember the apple." I think he did...

Helping out Will today is Karen (sister) and the parents. Papito calls Will the
glue of the family. The glue separates himself from that offer. NO DEAL.
24 - $750
12 - Papito's choice... $1000
5 - "Pequito!" BANOODLES! That, by the way, means... nothing.
16 - $5000
Banker needs to hurry up with this offer... Passed to Papito.

Lot of money, but with four cases bigger than the offer, and a dealer's board to
die for, it's NO DEAL.
14 - After Will and Pilar have a corazon-a-corazon.... $1
22 - $100,000
4 - $300,000
Still a dealer's board, but the banker is dropping the offer...

The family tells him to go for it. That's what he's gonna do.
Also here with Will, his friends AND the man that led Will's rescue operation.
He's the real hero. "Scott Strauss is my hero."
Eight cases remain, three big ones, two to go in this round.
19 - Karen's choice... $500,000
8 - $500
Still a dealer's board. What does the banker think?

He hasn't forgotten about the arrow to the head. Will Will risk $185,000 for a
shot at the million? There's a one-in-three chance at more than the offer, so...
NO DEAL. Papito looks upset. "That one was a good offer."
11 - "True hero." $300
Small money, tough decision, new offer... way up.

We're up to a 40% chance that Will is sitting on larger than the offer. But he's
got a guarantee of $213,000. Still a dealer's board. NO DEAL! This one, on a
hunch. Papito looks genuinely pissed.
26 - For his... and his daughter Olivia's... birthday... "Bullseye!" $5
Next offer... WAY up.

There's a 50/50 shot at more than that offer... Will he take the offer? He's
giving up $271,000 to play for about three times that. Papito is begging him...
"Deal!" After Will acknowledges the students that wrote him, he does the right
thing... This is for people other than himself, so... DEAL for $271,000!
It was the right thing to do, but was it the right decision? Stacey had... $75.
Bank would've offered... $488,000. Marisa had... the other million. Bank
would've dropped to $190,000. In Will's case...
A great deal!
Next time, we add another case in the mix.
