Episode 3.27
January 16

Tonight is a special night in the Vault as twenty-five models (and one model wannabe) continue the Million Dollar Mission. Carrying case #4 tonight... Ellen DeGeneres. We join her as she is learning how to open the case...

... She'll get it in time for the show. We hope.

First up, SHEQUILA FARRELLY. Shequila's originally from Lower Alabama. She's married to an Army man. She's a TV junkie, especially talk shows... especially Ellen. She's here tonight. She wants to save some money up for her education.

Okay, tonight's game is played with seven million dollar cases. Is one of them in case #10?

Shequila's case

Starting with six...

2 - "Not a good start." $1,000,000. Six more.
16 - $50,000
22 - $75
6 - $1,000,000... Five more.
5 - $10,000
18 - $100

Two MDCs in one round... Not a good way to start the game. But let's see what the banker has to say...

BANK OFFER
$145,000

$ 0.01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 1,000,000
$ 100 $ 1,000,000
$ 200 $ 1,000,000
$ 300 $ 1,000,000
$ 400 $ 1,000,000
$ 500 $ 1,000,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

A record first offer on a draw board. Shequila sees this as life changing money, especially when you consider that she's a military wife who is very active in her community.

Not enough, though. NO DEAL.

8 - $1
23 - $400
1 - $5000
15 - $1,000,000... Four more.
17 - $1000

Four MDCs left. Still a draw board. Banker offers...

BANK OFFER
$166,000

$ 0.01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 1,000,000
$ 100 $ 1,000,000
$ 200 $ 1,000,000
$ 300 $ 1,000,000
$ 400 $ 1,000,000
$ 500 $ 1,000,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

Almost a one-in-three chance at Sara (friend), Kia (friend), and Patrick (husband) helping a millionaire. Patrick's leaving next month, so he's glad to be here. He says no. So says Shequila. Four more cases...

9 - $10
24 - ... Ellen has to take a sit-down... next to the family. Meanwhile... $1,000,000
11 - ... oh, the regular kid's back at #4. $200 at #11, though.
4 - ... and she's leaving again. Ellen rushes back to open up... $300!

Three MDCs left. Going to the banker as Ellen, per the rules of DOND, left as her case was chosen...

BANK OFFER
$188,000

$ 0.01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000

$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 1,000,000
$ 100 $ 1,000,000
$ 200 $ 1,000,000
$ 300 $ 1,000,000
$ 400 $ 1,000,000
$ 500 $ 1,000,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

The offers will start to go down if she picks off another MDC, so what does Shequila want to do? The wives in the audience say NO DEAL. So says Shequila.

20 - $1,000,000... Two more.
13 - $50
21 - $25

Two big cases left. Howie says that the offers should start to go down... Didn't happen, though.

BANK OFFER
$197,000

$ 0.01 $ 25,000
$ 5 $ 75,000
$ 500 $ 1,000,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

There's a one-in-four chance that Shequila is sitting on a million. Is that chance worth $197,000? Nope. No deal.

Meanwhile Brigadier General Dana Pittard has to make a special presentation to Shequila... the Commanding General's Coin from America's Army. Congrats!

Now back to the game. Two cases.

12 - $1,000,000... One more.

$ 0.01 $ 25,000
$ 5 $ 75,000
$ 500 $ 1,000,000

The friends say to slap the button and roll out. Book says to do it as well. She does. DEAL for $36,000.
