Larry's Case

... What the banker said he would win.

Through the magic of editing, the models reappear with new dresses. Howie appears with a new shirt. And we appear with a new player, SUMMER ANDREW (C-note: Not a good enough edit, as she's referred to as "the first contestant"). She just moved to Chino Valley, AZ, where she's a stay-at-home mom. Craig, her husband, is also in the stands. He loves the online game, but he's terrible at it. So she says.

Another early call from the banker... He wants Craig to play the online game while Summer plays the real game. In the end, she'll have to choose whether to take home what she has won or what Craig has won. To that end, banker drone escorts Craig to sequester.

Meanwhile, Summer picks #3 for her three girls.

Summer's Case

Starting with six...

$5,000

16

$50

20

$1

26

$50,000

8

$100

18

$200

Summer's really good at this. All the big seven are in play. The banker's also in play. We'll get to him in a sec, but let's see how Craig is doing... He's taken off $50, $100, $200, $750, $75,000, and $750,000. And he's picked case #12.

Back to Summer and the banker, who offers... well, who cares what he offered. Summer says NO DEAL! Turns out she turned down $72,000 after Howie took the offer during the break.

Pick five, girl...

14

$750,000

24

$75

21

$25

19

$300

9

$1,000

Aside from that first pick, this was a good round. This time, Summer wants an offer. It dropped.

BANK OFFER
$61,000

$ 0.01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000
$ 200 $ 300,000
$ 300 $ 400,000
$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

Still a good total, at least Tricia (best friend), dad, and Shana (kid sister). The kids in the audience don't want her to give up now. NO DEAL.

23

$300,000

6

$200,000

17

$100,000

2

It's Tricia's unborn baby's choice.

$400

Huge offer? Yep.

BANK OFFER
$88,000

$ 0.01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000
$ 200 $ 300,000
$ 300 $ 400,000
$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

We've got a big cushion. The help wants Summer to git-r-done. She needs a little more money. NO DEAL.

Update on Craig's board: after round 3, he's got $300K, $400K, and the million still in play.

Now to the studio board.

4

$5

13

$10

22

$25,000

It's not a penny, but it's not bad. We've got a dealer's board now. The banker offers...

BANK OFFER
$145,000

$ 0.01 $ 10,000
$ 500 $ 75,000
$ 750 $ 400,000
  $ 500,000
  $ 1,000,000

Three cases have more than $100,000. That's enough for a house, what the banker is offering, but it's all up to Summer. So many questions. So many figures. So many options...

And it all leads to one conclusion... NO DEAL.

1

"I hope I have a little one..."

She's got a BIG one. $1,000,000

15

$400,000

Safety net's gone in the studio. The banker offers...

BANK OFFER
$45,000

$ 0.01 $ 10,000
$ 500 $ 75,000
$ 750 $ 400,000
  $ 500,000
  $ 1,000,000

Offer dropped $100,000. And here comes the Bronx cheer from the audience. Did Craig take an offer? Will Summer take this one? There's a one-in-three chance at more than the bank offer. The kids say "No deal." Dad wants one more case. "I swore I would never do this..." She shuts the box. NO DEAL.

11

$10,000

Better. Banker's offer. Better.

BANK OFFER
$59,000

$ 0.01 $ 10,000
$ 500 $ 75,000
$ 750 $ 400,000
  $ 500,000
  $ 1,000,000

That's a lot of money, but consider that there is a little safety net thanks to the banker lowballing the offer. He wants her to stick around. Her brother told her to shoot for the stars, but don't be ashamed if you land on the moon. The crowd wants one more case...

DEAL for $59,000... MAYBE.

Hayley had $500. Bank offer.. $136,000. Anya had... $500,000. Bank offer... $28,000. In Summer's case...

Summer's Case

Banoodles the Monkey. But she has one more choice to make. Will she take the $59,000... or what Craig ended up with?

The banker's drone enters with Craig's case. Craig knows the outcome of Summer's game. Summer does not know the outcome of his game. Dad says to go with her gut. Craig wants her to take his deal. The best friend wants Summer to take Craig's deal... Sister says so as well.

"I'M GOING WITH CRAIG'S CASE!"

Inside Craig's case...

$74,000

DEAL OR
NODEAL
Craig's Case

A great deal for him AND for Summer! Must've been his lucky.

Next week, a bit of summer in the dead of winter.
