Round of 8 (or "Collision Course")
December 8

It's about to go down. 8 dancers remain in the competition, and it's getting tighter. Let's find out who's the best routine makers of the evening as our performance show starts.

First of all, we have to say hello to Ashleigh, who popped her shoulder and won't dance tonight. But shoulder or not, they'll still need her votes. It's better than dropping out, I guess. Now to the dancing. Our first couple goes to Kathryn & Ryan doing a disco to "Last Dance" by Donna Summer, which is remixed by Lindsay Lohan's gal pal Samantha Ronson. As it turned out, it was a disco love story. What's next? A techno wedding?

What Nigel said: The style suited Kathryn.
What I said: Kathryn took it like a girl.

Up next is Mollee & Ryan doing a Viennese Waltz to "Ordinary Day" by Vanessa Carlton. This time, they had to take it to a higher level, and delivered it.

What Mary said: There's nothing ordinary about these 2.
What I said: It was breathtaking!

What's with Ashleigh on stage? Oh, she's telling everyone to vote, but she's not doing a solo tonight. Remember the top of the show we told you about?

On to Ellenore & Legacy doing contemporary to "Machine Gun" by Portishead. It had many dance moves and incredible stunts for this routine.

What Nigel said: It was so, so dangerous.
What I said: It was insane!

Jakob came in for a solo to "When You say My Name," and we got 2 more names to round out the half, they are Ashleigh & Russell, but Shane's assist comes to dance for her as they dance hip-hop to "Too Much Booty" by Soundmaster. As you can tell, Russell hit it way hard!

What Nigel said: It was great.
What I said: Russell knocked that one out the park.

SECOND HALF

We begin with Mollee doing "Heartburn" by Alicia Keys, and soon after, a cha-cha is done thanks to Kathryn & Ryan doing "Put Your Hands On Me" by Joss Stone. It had to be on fire from teh minute this latin dance began.

What Mary said: That was just on fire.
What I said: They smoked it up!

It's a trio of solos starting with Legacy doing "Fancy Footwork" by Chromeo, Ellenore doing "I got The Feeling" by James Brown and Russell doing "Holiday Buckness." That of course, is him in the Santa suit.

Next up is Mollee & Jakob doing Broadway to "Easy Street" from "Annie." In it, they play 2 con-artists to find a way to get rich. Guess the cops weren't around.

What Adam said: So strong!
What I said: They've seemed to put it in.

Here's another solo from Kathryn doing "Shadowfeet" by Brooke Frasier. We run into a TabNap routine from Ellenore & Legacy doing "People Are Strange" by The Doors. In it, it had a good comparison to choreography, but it was weak on terms.

What Nigel said: The dancing we got wasn’t really together.
What I said: That didn't work.

After Ryan did the last solo of the night, He asked everyone to support his injured wife. Now isn't that something. The last routine goes to Ashleigh & Russell doing Bollywood. Nakul's assist pinch hits in this routine, and it was like a story.

What Nigel said: My eyes went to you.
What I said: All eyes were watching on the routine.

Time to close our eyes and go to bed. Tomorrow, only one couple will be resting in peace. You'll see why tomorrow. Good night.
