The
Vegas Callbacks: Part 2 (or "Spin the Wheel")
October 14
When we last left, 3 days of dancing went in the books
in Las Vegas, and we continue with 77 dancers remaining.
Let see what happens as we continue Vegas week on
"Dance."
We start on the eve of Day 2, where dancers are put
through the ringer by doing a LaurieAnn Gibson jazz
routine. Most of them were scared. But they decided to
group up. Karen's group go first and her husband Matthew
come along with it. However, she is devastated that
Matthew is gone. Come 7 o' clock or 9 central, 6 more
get cut out. In the next group, Molly gets her foot hurt
and is taken to the hospital. By 9 P.M., 69 remain. and
a group is split to form routines from a hat. Russell's
group go first with a Broadway routine and several of
them didn't make it. Molly comes back with her group
despite the strain in her foot, but is given the nod to
dance. Not having enough dancing meant that everyone
stayed safe for now.
DAY 3
Noontime came, and everyone learns a contemporary
routine. with a hug and a calming exercise, it seems to
get better for them. Kevin's group did well, but
Legacy's group had a nervous breakdown. Mia asks him
about it....and moves on. Before the final round begins,
11 get sent home early and this time, it's a Broadway
routine by Tyce Diorio. To make things fair, the groups
will be split into guys & girls, and later into 3. The
women perform first and Pauline hurts her ankle during
practice. While they go to the pool to relax, the guys
make a splash to Billy Joel's music, and Ryan's in the
first group, but Dominic gets cut later. 38 remain and
it's the final solo round. One highlight you might see
is Billy's solo that left Adam crying. Everyone else
perform, and Pauline still has an ankle injury. Will
that help or hurt it? You'll see why who makes the top
20 next week. Time to watch "Glee." Goodnight.
