Our Start to a 6th Season (or "How Did We Change Our Batteries?")
September 9

In about 60 minutes, you're about to see the world premiere of "Glee." That is something to grab the nachos & pizza to snack on. Right now though it's the sixth season of the most famous six words in all of television. You guessed it right, "So You Think You Can Dance" heads into our fall season.

With the temperatures soon to be dropping, we're heating up with more moves than ever before, but if you wanna get there, you got to audition for your city. With that said, let's travel to our first one of the season.

LOS ANGELES
Day 1

Normally, every season starts out in New York, but this season, we took it to the west coast. Joining the unforgettable and undeniable tag team of Nigel Lythgoe & Mary Murphy is Adam Shankman. Our first hopeful for this season is Cole. He prides himself as....distinctive & unique. But for his dancing....idiotic & stupid. That won't take him to Vegas. Maybe Mollee from Utah will go. Her mom worked 3 jobs to support her and her dancing lessons. That may be hard, but she made it look easy with a contemporary number. The dancers stood up for her and the judges send her straight through to Vegas.

With David, Amanda & Brandon going straight through, Ryan & Bianca come back after getting ousted from the top 20. Ryan's brother Evan went to the top 20 last season, but ended up in 3rd place. This year, Ryan will repeat the same feat his brother gave. He gives a tap routine, and he goes to Vegas without warning. Now it's Bianca's turn. She's in the same department Ryan has....and.....she goes to Vegas!

To end our first day in LA, here's Christopher, who wants to one day do a film called "Drum Song," but in the auditions, he shoots a manic one to "All That Jazz." The judges razz him on that, and he ends up on the cutting room floor, straight to the video stores, in fact. 9 more dancers don't. They go to Vegas.

LOS ANGELES
Day 2

With Day 1 a wrap, we get to the next day where Christina brings Pepe to do a salsa. Hey, that sounds like some energy in the ballroom. WIth a hip-hop twist, Xtina brings it straight to Vegas, no doubt. Next is Phillip. After a montage of bad auditions before him, we see another tapper with a roommate of Ryan who we saw earlier. They send him to Vegas with precision. Round 2 came and 10 more go through to Vegas.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the first night here on our show. Please stay tuned for "Glee," because it's one to watch. So for everyone here, goodnight.
