The
Vegas Callbacks (or "Spin the Wheel")
October 7
They've made it. They went from auditioning from cities
and now they're going to Las Vegas for the callbacks.
It's time to see which hopefuls will be the top 20, but
first, they have to survive a week in hell. You'll see
what we mean as our show begins.
DAY 1
With 152 dancers ready to head to the hotel, we have
Nigel & Mary, along with Adam Shankman, Mia MIchaels
from yesterday, Tyce Diorio and Debbie Allen. We start
Day 1 with solos, like Nicolas Trasoras, who tok a shot
last season. This time, he goes in after finding out
that he gives a ticket to Vegas despite being 17 at that
time. He does spins in his powerful performance. Next up
is Ellenore Scott, who has a fun & quirky robot ballet
routine. 8 more came, and when the 10 lined up, Chance &
Paige had no chance but to go home. Everyone else moved
on.
Also in this process, Shelby Skipper alias Skip skips
ahead to the next round, while Thomas Hamilton and a
hearing-impaired dancer named Allison Becker hear the
steps towards the exits. With 41 dancers gone, 111
remain to do a TabNap routine, and Teddy & gene couldn't
get things going. 21 dancers go home, and Ryan Kasprak
goes on despite the 3-3 deadlock from the judges.
DAY 2
90 dancers remain and Louis Van Amstel takes time off
from DWTS to teach the kids how to do a Cha Cha. Anya
comes in for the assist and made this faster and more
difficult. A krumper named Russell Ferguson teams up
with Iveta from ballroom. Legacy couldn't copy somebody
else's moves and will be forced to dance with John for
survival. Despite the injury and limited practice time,
Billy & Kristina get the go-ahead. Ryan had a deadlock
yesterday, but his ballroom drew him dead. He is gone.
John dances for survival, but couldn't cut it. Neither
do Teddy & Skip. Legacy shows off his solo, but the
judges want to see his transitions next time. He
is......going on. So that's it. 77 dancers remain, and
there's only room for 20. Tune in tomorrow to see who'll
make it to Los Angeles. Have a good night!
