The Phoenix Auditions (or "Why Are The Ashes Rising?")
September 16

The 6th season is off to a good start. Our West Coast swing continues to one of the hottest cities in the west. It'll be Phoenix, never mind the temperature. It seems the forecast will be for hopefuls going to Vegas, another hot city. Expect a few bad ones here and there. Let's begin.

PHOENIX
DAY 2

Joining the hottest duo in reality TV is Mia Michaels. Let's kick the thermostat up and welcome Shorty and Biggie, otherwise known as Brandon & Demetrio. They get to do a breakdance routine. The judges know that Brandon is technically stronger and round 2 is waiting for them. It gets warmer as Sasha comes up to dance with a folding chair. No chair shots for assistance as she's going to Vegas. This is where the temperature goes way up.

After Katie & Ellie went to Vegas, the heat continued as Allison goes for her shot. She had Spinal Meningitis at age 16, which left her deaf. That's wasn't a problem as she did a contemporary routine. That liked the judges a bit, but round 2 was in the cards for her. We deal out 2 same sex dancers named Jacob & Willem. Let's see if they can add a title upon their U.S. title in ballroom. But on "Dance," we only have room for one. With a ballroom routine, they thought they wouldn't make it, but brother, they sold it, and round 2 will be for them.

Keeping the hot streak up is Johnathan doing props. Is he thinking this show or "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" Either way, that won't get him to round 2 or Vegas. It must be winter already. Round 2 came, but Demetrio couldn't take it no more, so he flees at the moment. When it was all said and done, Brandon got cut, but 12 move on to the next phase of competition.

DAY 2

It began with Jarvis. He came ready to fight. He does hip-hop, and puts energy into it. That'll catch his breath to round 2 according to the judges. After seeing a number of strange routines, next up is Kelsey doing a contemporary number. But Nigel decides to walk off after asking a question about being abducted by aliens leaving Mia & Mary to judge. They transport her to round 2. Here's another Johnathan, this time, he's under the nickname Legacy. So what if he joins the team of Orton, Rhodes & Dibiase? Not under my watch, I don't. But he does a street dance and he fulfills the dream of Vegas.

Round 2 came, but Jarvis took a tumble and the paramedics rushed to the aid of him. Jarvis suffered an asthma attack, but Kelsey got attacked, because it wasn't enough flair for her. However, 5 more people hit the road to Vegas. Hope you enjoyed our little show. Next time, we hit the city of Boston. Hope we'll enjoy the tea party next week. Good night.
