Round of 16 (or "Capital Combat")
November 10

After 2 weeks of performance/result hyrbid shows, we splti them up and get right down to business. It's the same show, but only 2 will go home tomorrow. Let's get to performing on the first week of 2 shows.

Before we begin, a reminder if you live in L.A., the dizzy feet foundation will have a performance from last season's dancers, crews from ABDC and much more....and it won't be televised, you have to come down to check it out.

Now on to the stuff. First off is Karen & Kevin doing a disco from by Maria Torres. Karen took over as stage hogger and she's not afraid to show it.

What Nigel said: it was absolutley delighted in the dance.
What I said: Karen took it over from the beginning.

Next up is Jakob & Ashleigh doing a Mandy moore jazz routine to "Relax" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood. They had a little fun with a cane and Jakob did a flip.

What Adam said: Asheligh belongs on this show.
What I said: The cane thing was pretty fun.

Now we got Pauline & Peter doing a JT & Tomas quickstep. I know it's hard, but you'll get over it when it's over. Good luck you 2. By the end, Pauline almost bumped Peter off the stage. Man, that was close!

What Mary said: There were some technical issues.
What I said: I know it's hard, but they did pretty nice.

Here's Kathyrn & Legacy doing Broadway done by Andy Blankenbueler.....weird last name. They brought the character into the ballroom as they danced with Legacy takng control.

What Adam said: it was adorable.
What I said: Cute.

Channing & Victor will now do a Stacey Tookey contemporary routine. With their first go round, they tackled the dance and learned the moves.

What Nigel said: It was good technically.
What I said: They seem to do contemporary very well.

Next up is Ellenore & Ryan doing a Lil' C hip-hop dance to "Lost Boyz Anthem." It seemed Ryan was losing it a bit, but they pulled it together for a great dance.

What Nigel said: I'm worried for tomrrow's results show.
What I said: Why aren't they trying to act together?

Next, Molle & Nathan doing a salsa. It seemed that they made a few mistakes that became costly.

What Mary said: it was french fried.
What I said: They turned out to be fried chicken.

Ending the show is Noelle & Russell doing a Afro jazz routine from Sean CHeeseman...yet another weird last name. Throught the rotuine, you got to see a couple of backovers. Amazing!

What Adam said: I had a fantastic time watching it.
What I said: It was stellar!

What a show it was. We'll see you on Veterans day to see the results and who is going home. Hope to see you soon.
