The Day of Reckoning
November 19

Last time on Survivor, tribal lines were both drawn and erased in the merge. Erik was voted out first, but Russell was voted out AFTER he played his Immunity Idol, leaving the old Galu with six... or so it would seem, as Shambo's defection evens the numbers. Now there are 10 left and one hidden Immunity Idol still in play.

Night 24: My work is done.

Russell says that this might be one of the best pieces of work he's ever done. It may be worth a million dollars. Meanwhile, the former Foa Foas believe that Russell's a sneaky snake. They should've known better. Shambo thinks that the look on Laura's face was just classic.

Day 25: Back on the hunt.

Russell starts the day by looking for the hidden Immunity Idol. This will be the third one if he finds it. Shambo calls Laura the viper queen of Galu, and she is the first to go. Shambo needs John however to send Laura home. John knows that Shambo has flipped, but what's he going to do with that information? After all, he's got to do what's right for him.

R-CHALLENGE: Cradle of Life (a trip to Savai'i for lunch and a Palm Pre)

Two teams of five will play. Four will maneuver one on a cradle as they gather flags one at a time. The first team to get all 15 flags wins.

The teams: Shambo, Jaison, Monica, Mick & John in the cradle vs. Dave, Brett, Laura, Russell, and Natalie in the cradle.

Natalie gets the first flag up to the post, while John drops his flag. He also drops a posted flag and can't continue until he gets it back up. Natalie's team are too far ahead. And NATALIE's team win!

At the reward, the five-some of Dave, Brett, Laura, Russell, and Natalie get some badly needed food in their bellies... and a clue on their Sprint Palm Pre. But we're getting ahead of ourselves.

Back at camp, Jaison knows where the votes lie, and Laura prepares to offer a very lucrative deal in exchange for her survival, thinking that Shambo was the fifth vote for the Foa Foas.

Back to the reward, through and this...

See your "Memo" board for a lead to your next clue.

The board posting says...

"This Palm in your hand holds much information,
Which you'd better heed, or it will be your own loss.
The immunity idol is no rolling stone
A rolling stone gathers no moss."

It's under a mossy rock, per another video clue.

Once the tribe is reunited, Russell shares the information with Jaison, so now it's a mad search between Russell and Dave.

And once again, Russell finds the hidden immunity idol.

Laura thinks that the Foa Foas are coming after her. She has to win....

I-CHALLENGE: Breaking the Third Wall

Use a rock to break as many tiles as you can. For every tile you break, you earn a spear. The closest to a bullseye will win Immunity.

Jaison gets a spear, Monica has a spear, Mick has a spear, Brett has two... Laura has... zero.

Part two has the spear to the bullseye. Will that extra spear give Brett the advantage? Nope. Mick wins it.

Day 27: You're gonna open that thing up?

Russell is happy because there is at least a tie coming up on Tribal Council. Shambo is voting for Laura tonight. Brett can't change her mind. Laura decides to play for a flushout of the Idol, voting for Russell, but John decides to offer up Natalie, because she is the least-likely to have the Idol. John thinks that voting off Shambo, Russell, and Erik over a 30-second decision... "You're an idiot." Some people are, at the same time, saying John. The tribe needs to give this more thought.

Monica tells the Foa Foa that they're voting for John. Russell tells Monica that there is no way to avoid the 5-5 tie that's coming up, even as she says that she would rather take out John than Laura. Mick thinks that she's put a little snake in the grass for some information. Russell & Jaison want to let John know that it's going to be him on the block.

Brett tells John of Monica's plan. Doesn't sound like a good plan if you're John. So John talks to the former Galus, telling him that he's not going to step in the way of Laura's punch as it were. Russell tells John of the 5-5 vote. If it goes to the tie, it has to come down to John switching. And the next vote... needs to be a Foa Foa.

Is this going to come down to a rock draw?

Night 27: Tribal...

John's surprised that two Galus have been voted out. John says that the appeal of the Foa Foa four is a block. Shambo says that Galu is no longer one tight unit. Laura doesn't know what Shambo's talking about. A group can't be tight if one of the member is on the fence. Dave is okay with going to a tie. There's nothing bigger than lady luck.

Shambo: LAURA - "You're a viper and a poison, and I pray to God you go tonight."
Dave: NAT(alie)

The rest of the votes...

Jaison: LAURA
Laura: NATALIE
Russell: LAURA
Brett: NATALIE
Mick: LAURA
Dave: NATALIE
Natalie: LAURA
John: .... NATALIE

We're tied at 5. Time for a revote. Laura and Natalie will not vote.

Dave: NAT - "I'm ready to roll the dice. Let's go."

The rest of the votes...

Shambo: LAURA
Jaison: LAURA
Russell: LAURA
Brett: NATALIE
Mick: LAURA
Dave: NATALIE

And the final vote is...

John: .... LAURA

By a vote of 5-3, LAURA... The tribe has spoken in another blindside.
