Walking on Thin Ice
October 15

Last time, Foa Foa finally got their first win on the board, while Galu sent their first player home. Shambo had a better time in Foa Foa. Russell sided with the majority and voted Yasmin out. Now 15 remain.

Night 11: We'll be in front of the fire in a minute.

Yeah... what fire? We get a little spark, but that needs to be reignited, and so do the tribe. We have to pick up the pieces tomorrow. Meanwhile, the rest of the tribe seem to think that Shambo's socially awkward. Monica says that she's the next choice.

Day 12: This ocean's a real bitch.

Erik is washing himself in a fickle ocean as the tides roll in.

Over on Foa Foa, it's a new day. And a new treemail.

"The ocean's deep provides many a treat.
Some pay a fortune for what you will eat.
If you keep it all down inside your tummy
You just may win something yummy.
Don't swallow your pride, 'cause you're in no position
To turn up your nose to some free nutrition."

Liz and Russell wonder who the pickiest eater on the tribe is... is it Ashley? Who cares? He goes to Jaison with this. Russell says that this could be dangerous. "I gotta be the only mindgame player here."

R-CHALLENGE: Wheel! Of! Protein! (for a barbecue; Kelly, Laura, and John sit out for Galu)

One tribesman at a time is going to spin the wheel. The two ingredients we land on will be blended with a blender that Jeff is borrowing from Drew Carey. Each time you get it down, you score a point. First to five wins.

Round 1: Shambo vs. Jaison. Giant clam and... Jeff's choice. This is always dangerous. He adds octopus... a sea snail... or two... some noni juice... and a seaweed garnish. Kampai! Both score. 1-1.

Round 2: Russell vs. Russell. Jellyfish special. The milk's on the house. Swan says no problem. Hantz... also no problem. 2-2.

Round 3: Brett vs. Mick. Sea cucumber and giant clam. 3-3

Round 4: Monica vs. Liz... Who wants uni? Apparently everyone does, as we are STILL tied.

Round 5: Ashley vs. Dave... Sea slug guts. And make it a double. Dave is down... Ashley... needs a moment. GALU wins! They get the barbecue, while Shambo gets to go visit Foa Foa again. "Has to pay for that chicken."

"Steak sucks anyway. Group hug." Okay...

Ashley lost the challenge for the team. Mick says that it wasn't going to hurt her, it just tastes bad. Natalie says that it wasn't her fault.

Over on Galu, it's barbecue time. But Russell messes up the fire. Dave says that we need more fuel. Russell's not in the mood for suggestions. He's in the mood for help. So help him out already. Dave says that he patronizes people without thinking about it. We finally get the fire going once again... and it's time to eat.

Shambo shares the final clue with her tribe:

"Turn your gaze downward
Scour the earth and take heed
Inside a hole in a tree
Is the idol you need."

As a reminder... Russell already has the Idol. Liz... has a feeling that Russell has the idol. Russell knows that Liz knows what's going on, while Liz is busy threatening him.

Night 12: We're waterlogged...

Kelly is regretting the decision to take blankets over tarp now that it's really coming down.

Day 13: Still raining...

"Some hold on for their lives, while others will attack.
So who gets the glory? And who gets the sack?
Obviously in this challenge, you'll have to kick some butts
Not worried about going home tonight? Then you must be plain nuts."

I-CHALLENGE: Driving You 'Nuts (Dave, Shambo, and Brett sit out for Galu)

One man and one woman from both tribes will hold onto a net while everyone shoots coconuts at it. The more coconuts in the net, the heavier it gets until you can't hold on anymore. The last tribesman standing wins immunity.

On the ropes are Russell and Liz for Foa Foa and Russell and Laura for Galu.

Foa Foa's yet to get one coconut in, while Galu is on fire. Russell H is the first one out. Liz is the second one out. GALU wins immunity!

Day 14: Still... raining.

As a tribe, it doesn't look like Foa Foa is at an advantage now. They're all cold and tired. Their hands are destroyed and their feet look like crap. But no one's going to volunteer to go home. There's not much room to do some strategizing, because they're all huddled up in the hut. Ashley decides that she's going to vote for Liz. Liz thinks that Ashley is the weakest link. Everyone else... playing by ear right now. Jaison has no idea what's going to go down on this vote. Russell... has to stop strategy because of the rain.

Night 14: Tribal...

Jaison compares Survivor to US water polo. Ashley thinks that it's bittersweet that they're going to tribal, when there's warmth and shelter. There's no way to strategize when you're huddled. Russell thinks that being down five people reorders your priorities. Ashley says that she tries Natalie and Russell. Liz trusts everyone here. She would be surprised if it was her going home tonight. Mick hopes that the tribe will be a lot more cohesive in the long run. Russell says that they're too tight to be "up in the air".

Ashley: LIZ - "I trust you the least out of everyone."
Jaison: ASHLEY

All the other votes... are for ASHLEY. By a vote of 5-1, Ashley... THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN.
