"Car-Go" - January 10

The show begins by Ruthie saying to Sophia "Today is very important." Because the girls have been losing challenges day after day, but have won on two missions. Meanwhile, Eric talks about him and Mark about how they are on the same page from the very start to protect each other in the competition.

Later on the teams pick up their wireless phones to read the message for their next challenge telling them to be ready by 8:30 AM tomorrow and to wear tennis shoes. The teams go to the location for their next mission and once again being welcomed by host Johnny. They are shown two cars connected to free-weight pulleys as the setup. The chains on the setup have to be pulled to get the car to be raised up and has to be done by four of the team members. But before that can happen, they'll have to load the STA Travel luggage into their cars in some way (no stuffing, no breaking, etc.). The first team to get their loaded car to raise ten feet of the ground wins the challenge. Members of the winning team will receive $2,600 in Precor fitness equipment for a total team package of $13,000.

Since there are five guys and five girls remaining, the teams will now elected two of their members to be the team leaders. It's every man and woman for themselves now. As the men deliberate on their leaders, they made their decisions in like five seconds without discussing them with Brad. He's thinking this could end up bad based on his position in the competition. However, Brad's letting that decision slide. The girls have their deliberation, Ruthie decides to step up. Eventually, the guys elect Dan and Eric the girls elect Ruthie and Tina for the team leaders. In setting up the challenge the men will have Eric pack the trunk, Brad and Theo will deal with the small bags, Mark will load in the front, and pretty much doing the stacking. Tina's plan for the girls is to stack the bags vertically, but Ruthie thinks it's better to do it horizontally. Then Tina agrees with Ruthie's plan so the rest of the challenge should be interesting. The honk of the air horn sounds, and the mission officially begins. After the teams have stacked the bags inside, they begin the lifting phase. In order to win the team must have the bottle filled up with water to be off the ground. The guys were the first team to do just that giving them another win and the girls another disappointing loss and there was some finger-pointing and blaming among some of the girls. Now the men's Inner Circle (Dan and Eric) will have to send home Brad, Theo, or Mark and the women's Inner Circle (Coral, Sophia, and Aryssa) will have to eliminate Tina or Ruthie. As the Men's IC deliberates, Brad realized that he could have stepped up and said that having Eric as a team leader wasn't the right move to make. Arissa has never been in the team leader position ever since the first day of the competition. Tina is sick of waiting for Ruthie to come out and dominate in the game, because she hasn't done so at all. And Coral is doing whatever it takes to get her share of $180K. At Elimination Hill, the men made the difficult decision of taking Brad out of the game. Brad felt like he was so close to the end he could taste it. Despite Ruthie stepping up in the last challenge, she was also sent home from the BotS. It was her game, but it wasn't her circumstance. Ruthie hopes that the girls who deserve to make it to the final challenge, will make up for the missions they've lost previously.

The men know that they are not really playing an honest game and they aren't feeling bad about because of its nature. But Brad is bothered by the fact that there are certain people that shouldn't be in this game as he gives his last words before leaving and Brad should have made it to the end. Sopia knows that she must do well in the next challenge, or she'll be the last girl to be eliminated.

Four men and four women remain, who'll be the last ones eliminated and who'll be competing for that $180,000 prize pool? You'll have to watch the next episode of "The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Battle of the Sexes II."
