"High Noon" - November 15

Here comes a non-quickie recap of an episode of "The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Battle of the Sexes II."

The episode begins when Frank offers Angela advice on how to handle her teammates and jokes to the guys that he and Angela "made whoopee." The girls had won the Junk Boat challenge on the previous day, they're hoping to use that victory as a way of motivating themselves to win again this day.

The teams go to a western town where they'll take part in the next challenge, "High Noon." First the teams are given a set of playing cards in a 2-Ace ranking with the Ace card being high. The teammates choose which card they want based on their experience in paint ball. Cards are worth different amounts of points; Jacks are worth 11, Queens are worth 12, Kings are worth 13, Aces are worth 14, the remaining cards are worth their face value. The moment the card selections are done is when the guys and girls will use paintball guns as their weapons of destruction in a quick draw competition. The first player to hit their opponent gets points for their team. The team with the most points wins $500 gift certificates from Pottery Barn Teen for each member.

Angela decides to step up as a leader today because she feels bad since she stepped down as leader on the previous challenge. On this day, she's here to prove herself. Arissa and Tonya also step up to be leaders. For the guys, Randy, Brad, and Eric are the team leaders. Robin and Shawn duel in the first round for 2 points and Robin gets her shot off first nailing Shawn giving the girls the early lead. Minutes of footage later, the guys are leading the challenge the most of the way until the lead went to the girls. When Mike takes his turn, he knows that he has to perform well or he could be on the chopping block. Despite the blustery winds Mike nails Ibis despite the blustery winds and his very proud of himself for hitting a girl with a paintball. The men are then pulling ahead. When Angela duels against Brad, Jonny announces that the women must win the next three rounds in order to win the challenge. But when Brad hits her with a paintball, it was all over for the girls giving the guys another win.

Over at elimination hill, Eric tells the guys that based on their "formula", they have chosen Shawn to go home. Ibis goes up to speak for the girls and tells Angela that she's going home. Stepping onto her soap box, Angela keeps her head up high and, much to everyone's surprise, speaks her mind. She basically tells the girls that she's not a ***** like them and that's not how she wants to play the game and hopes that the women aren't all like that outisde the "Battle of the Sexes." The girls cheer her on and Frank is proud of Angela for saying what she felt. Before she's gone, Angela narrates that she's open to having a "friendship" with Frank.

With Angela voted out, Rachel now believes that the team is a lot stronger because they are rid of Angela's drama queen ways, which were a burden on her team.
