Million Dollar Twins
August
18

Last time, Scott & Emily Barzee turned office products into $125,000. Will someone follow suit now that the Million Dollar Mission is a Million Dollar Memory?

Tonight's players are another set of twins, SHAWN & DAN NIER of Rochester, NY. Dan is a PE teacher.

LEVEL 1 - $1000: DROP ZONE. The contestant must guide a whiffleball on two ropes downwards from a table to a basket 10 feet away.

And as always, "Failure to complete this task in 60 seconds may result in elimination."

First up, Dan with the ropes.

First attempt... FAIL (TIME OUT, TWO LIVES remaining).

Switchout!

Second attempt... COMPLETE! (:21, $1000)

LEVEL 2 - $2500: EGG DANCE. The contestant must carry two eggs on inverted plates across the stage from one set of platforms to the other. The contestant fails the challenge if either egg drops.

Shawn tries not to crack under the pressure...

First attempt... COMPLETE! (:02, $2500)

LEVEL 3 - $5000: BLOW BALL. On a pizza platter are 76 balls, three yellow, the rest red. The contestant must blow the red ping-pong balls off of a large pizza platter without knocking off the yellow ping-pong balls scattered in the mess of red ping-pong balls.

Dan tries not to blow it.

First attempt... COMPLETE! (:16, $5000)

LEVEL 4 - $10,000: SHARP SHOOTER. Using rubber bands as projectiles, the contestant must knock THREE clothespins with playing cards on them.

Shawn gives it a shot.

First attempt... COMPLETE! (:05, $10,000)

LEVEL 5 - $50,000: SPEED ERASER. Player must bounce pencils off their eraser into glasses. This must be repeated SEVEN times

Playing this Minute to Win It classic... Dan.

First attempt... COMPLETE! (:03, $50,000)

LEVEL 6 - $75,000: DROP BALL. The contestant must remove a water bottle, which is on top of a five gallon water jug, so that a golf ball drops into the jug. This must be done FOUR times out of seven.

First attempt... with Dan.... FAIL (ONE LIFE remaining).

Final attempt... with Shawn... COMPLETE! (:11, $75,000).

Watching as the twins climb the Minute to Win It Ladder is Dan's girlfriend Kristi.... to whom Dan proposes in the 60 Second Circle! DEAL! Wait, wrong show. Anyway, congrats to them both.

LEVEL 7 - $125,000: BROOM SKEEBALL. The player must roll a tennis ball over a broom handle and into three baskets.

Shawn thinks he has it in the basket.

Only attempt... COMPLETE! (:33, $125,000). Now the question... do the twins want to risk $75,000 on a chance at another $125,000? Nope. They're going home.

You're going to want to tune in all next week, as Minute to Win It presents... for the first time... WOMEN... as you've never seen them before.
