Couples Challenge

Tonight, you're invited to the event of a lifetime, as an engaged couple will take the plunge into the 60 Second Circle for $1 million.  Do they have the trust, the cooperation, and the faith needed to weather this storm?

Let's meet the couple... They are JASON & MELANIE. They don't have enough money to buy a cake. Let's see if they can take the cake tonight...

Now because they are playing as a couple, they must decide who will play the challenge after each blueprint. However, they will share the same three lives.

LEVEL 1 - $1000: CHOCOLATE UNICORN. Using one hand, the contestant must place chocolate Ding-Dongs on their forehead until they make a stack of seven and hold it for a three count. They can restack the snacks should they fall, but at no point should they take a bite.

And as always... "Failure to complete this task in 60 seconds may result in... ELIMINATION."

Taking on this horny task is... JASON.

First attempt... COMPLETE (:25, $1000)

LEVEL 2 - $2500: EXTREME HANKY PANKY. In a text of ambidexterity, or as the computer calls it, "lefty-righty skills", the player must use BOTH hands to empty two boxes of tissues.

Taking on the tissues is the one who's got the hands for the play, MELANIE.

First attempt... COMPLETE (:21, $2500)

LEVEL 3 - $5000: HIGH STRUNG. Using a looped string, the contestant must transport a raw egg from one bottle across the 60 Second Circle to another.

Who hopes they won't crack under the pressure? JASON hopes they won't.

First attempt... COMPLETE (:06, $5000)

LEVEL 4 - $10,000: MATCHMAKER. Sixteen cups are holding one M&M each, four each of greens, reds, blues, and yellows. One at a time, the contestant must group them by color onto four tables.

Who can group M&Ms with the best of them? MELANIE gets the challenge...

First attempt... COMPLETE (:01, $10,000). Next is for the guaranteed money... but first, how about a guaranteed cake... and guaranteed wedding bands... and Chandon champagne... and $8000 from Pier 1? Just as a gift from us to you.

LEVEL 5 - $50,000: RAISIN THE BAR. The contestant must flick a box of raisins from underneath an overturned soda bottle so that it lands on the table without toppling over. This must be repeated three times.

Who's got the flicking fingers to take this challenge on? MELANIE loves this game, so...

First attempt... FAIL (Out of bottles, TWO LIVES REMAINING)

Second attempt... Jason will take it on... COMPLETE (:37, $50,000 plus wedding package guaranteed)

LEVEL 6 - $75,000: KA-BROOM. A marshmallow sits on a paper plate. Using the spring action from a broom, a contestant must launch the marshmallow into the air and catch it in a cup. This must be repeated FOUR times.

First attempt... COMPLETE (:23, $75,000)

LEVEL 7 - $125,000: SHOE FLY SHOE. Using your foot, a contestant will have 12 attempts to toss a shoe onto a table.

First attempt... COMPLETE (:42, $125,000). But the question now... will they take the money and run or stay and go for $250,000? They're... walking with the money! Good for them. Good luck, guys!
