Perfect Strangers
July 21
Last time, Aaron Hendrick & Kimberly Fox took
down Level 8 for $250,000. Now they are in a rare but stellar position, playing
for $500,000 with all three of their lives intact. All that, plus someone will
try again for $1 million playing Supercoin.
Remember, since this is a team game, all three
lives will be shared by both participants, while they will decide who will take
on the stunts amongst each other.
LEVEL 9 - $500,000: EXTREME NUTSTACKER.
Just like in regular Nutstacker, the contestant must use chopsticks to
stack 10 nuts on top of one another. But in this game, rather than a
table, they will do the stacking on a cutting board that will be held by
the other player.
And as always... "Failure to complete
this task in 60 seconds may result in... ELIMINATION."
KIMBERLY has the stack first.
First attempt... FAIL (:50, TWO LIVES
remaining).
Second attempt goes to Aaron.
Second attempt... going to a photo
replay. After further review, the stack had to be held for a
three-count. Aaron was 2.45 seconds into the three-count before it fell.
That will be recorded as a miss (:08, ONE LIFE remaining).
Aaron goes for it one more time...
Final attempt... COMPLETE! (:00,
$500,000). With no lives in stock and one level left to take the
million... Aaron & Kimberly... bail out with $500,000!
Next up to face the 60 Second Circle are
two perfect strangers, LISETTE BODMER, a stay-at-home mom from New York
City, and KYLE MCGEE, a wrangler and recent college grad from Fort
Worth, TX.
LEVEL 1 - $1000: OCTOPUS. Around the 60
Second Circle are 12 inverted water bottles with red and yellow ribbons
under the neck. You will have 12 tries to pull THREE ribbons without
knocking the bottles over.
KYLE goes for the ribbons to start.
First attempt... COMPLETE (:37, $1000).
LEVEL 2 - $2500: WHIPPERSNAPPER. Using a
towel attached to the floor, a contestant must whip THREE ping pong
balls 15 feet to a bucket.
LISETTE takes her turn in the game.
First attempt... COMPLETE (:18, $2500).
LEVEL 3 - $5000: BY A THREAD. A
contestant must thread ten needles decreasing in size.
LISETTE gets the thread.
First attempt... COMPLETE (:19, $5000).
LEVEL 4 - $10,000: SPOON FROG. A
contestant must use a teaspoon to launch another teaspoon into a glass.
This must be repeated THREE times.
KYLE hops to it...
First attempt... FAIL (Two spoons, TWO
LIVES remaining).
Second attempt... COMPLETE (:33,
$10,000). This is for the second milestone.
LEVEL 5 - $50,000: STICKER PICKER UPPER.
Using an inverted platter, a contestant must roll an egg toward three
stickers, picking them up. If they crack under the pressure, they will
lose a life.
KYLE tries again.
First attempt... COMPLETE (:28, $50,000).
LEVEL 6 - $75,000: RAISIN THE BAR. The
contestant must flick a box of raisins from underneath an overturned
soda bottle so that it lands on the table without toppling over. This
must be repeated four times.
LISETTE says she got this...
First attempt... FAIL (three times, ONE
LIFE remaining)
KYLE tags in...
Final attempt... COMPLETE (:42, $75,000)
Taking a break from the game to play with
FERNANDO GARCIA. It's his chance at the Minute to Win It Million
Dollar Mission. All he has to do to win the million is get past Supercoin in one try.
LEVEL 10 - $1,000,000: SUPERCOIN. One quarter could win you $1 million. The contestant must bounce a quarter
15 feet into a water jug 5 gallons in volume with an opening 1.75 inches in length.
"Completing this task in 60 seconds will make you a MILLIONAIRE."
Only attempt... FAIL.
LEVEL 7 - $125,000: PROPELLER HEAD. The
contestant must launch a Chinese propeller and land it in a basket 15
feet away.
KYLE will try to not end the game here...
Only attempt... COMPLETE (:52, $125,000)
And...that's all she wrote for this round. Kyle & Lisette will split
$125,000!
"Get Up" in time for more minutes next
time.
