Office Romance
August 11

Remember that episode of "The Office", where Jim and company had their own version of the Office Olympics? Well, they didn't play for $1 million. Someone will.

That someone... SCOTT & EMILY BARZEE of Huntersville, NC, an office romance that turned into a romance. They used to work for a major bank in Charlotte. Three guesses which one.

LEVEL 1 - $1000: OFFICE MAXIMUS. The contestant have to bounce a rubber band ball to knock down three reams of paper, a distance of 16 feet on a table.

And as always, "Failure to complete this task in 60 seconds may result in elimination."

Scott goes for this one first...

First attempt... COMPLETE (:44, $1000). And everyone gets a bouncy rubber ball courtesy of OfficeMax.. Because, well... Office Maximus?

LEVEL 2 - $2500: CLIPPER. Using bundle clips, the contestant must roll ping pong balls down a slanted table into a row of three bundle clips.

Emily tries her hand at this one...

First attempt... FAIL (TIME OUT, TWO LIVES remaining)

Second attempt... Switch! COMPLETE! (:08, $2500)

LEVEL 3 - $5000: SPEED ERASER. Player must bounce pencils off their eraser into glasses. This must be repeated SEVEN times

Playing this Minute to Win It classic... Scott.

First attempt... COMPLETE! (:45, $5000, NEW HIGH SCORE)

LEVEL 4 - $10,000: OFFICE FLING. The contestant must use a rubber band attached to the legs of an overturned chair to launch a folded sheet of paper onto a table 12 feet away. This must be done ONCE.

Emily tries this.

First attempt... COMPLETE! (:30, $10,000)

LEVEL 5 - $50,000: OFFICE TENNIS. Like Beach Tennis before it, the team must use clipboards to rally a crumpled piece of paper into a wastebasket. A carry or double-hit will mean a loss of life.

First attempt... COMPLETE! (:15, $50,000)

LEVEL 6 - $75,000: COFFEE TOPPER. The contestants must drop compact discs a distance of three feet onto a mouth of a plastic cup. This must be done ONCE.

Scott goes for it...

First attempt... FAIL (TIME OUT, ONE LIFE remaining)

Final attempt... COMPLETE! (:50, $75,000)

Now the question... Will the Barzees cash out or play on? They... are going for it!

LEVEL 7 - $125,000: BACKFLIP. The contestant must flip and catch a set of pencils from the back of their hand, starting with two and adding two more after each successful catch, up to twelve. This must be repeated SIX times.

Emily has faith in Scott.

Only attempt... Right after a Million Dollar break with Cheryl Aquino and Supercoin.

LEVEL 10 - $1,000,000: SUPERCOIN. One quarter could win you $1 million. The contestant must bounce a quarter 15 feet into a water jug 5 gallons in volume with an opening 1.75 inches in length. "Completing this task in 60 seconds will make you a MILLIONAIRE."

FINAL Attempt... FAIL. Oh well. Sorry.

Back to Scott and Backflip...

Only attempt... COMPLETE! (:25, $125,000). That's good enough for Scott & Emily. Enjoy the money!
