Semifinals: McKean/Mizrahi/Shaughnessy
May 4
Every month this season, three celebrities came
to play... Only one would win and be crowned among the best. Now it's time see
who's the best OF the best. And at the end, one celebrity will win $1 million
for their charity. Win today, and you move on to the final level,
where the $50,000 you won in the prelims could be transformed into $1 million.
Lose... and you go home with another $50,000. Any and all monies will be determined by how far up the ladder a player goes.
Last time, Jane Curtin pulled the upset, besting
Pat Sajak and Harry Shearer for the right to play in the final of the
tournament. Tonight, three more stars will compete for another seat on
Finalists' Row. BUT not without a twist. Andy Richter, who won the first
preliminary back in September, is currently on tour with Conan O'Brien's
"Legally Prohibited To Be Funny on TV" Tour, so in comes the highest scoring
non-winner...

I wish you could hear
Annette O'Toole in the audience screaming. Meanwhile, I'm screaming at
how epic this battle was. This came down to the wire. Michael did what
he had to do, and as a result remains a man to watch in the final. The
runners-up leave with $100,000 each.
Three more stars tomorrow.
