Finals:
Beachum/Chung/Zsenak - Part 1
May 15
While college seniors all
across the country are graduating, nine of last week's players are
graduating to the next level, the semi-finals. For three of them, the
road to $100,000 and a slot in the next Tournament of Champions
continues. For the other six, the dream ends here at the Kohl Center in
Madison.
This Spring Classic is
another standard two-week affair, advancing the winners of last week's
games as well as four wild-cards, high scorers among non-winners. All of
this week's players will be
guaranteed $10,000 for their participation. And in the end, only the
winner will advance, hence the phrase, "Win or go home."
The first runner-up receives
$50,000 at least, while the second runner-up wins at least $25,000. As
always, any and all winnings accrued depends on how far up the ladder a
player goes.
And then... there were
three.
