Week 10: Ballroom Bowl VII
November 24

If the Wizard of Oz gave 3 ballroom finalists to wish for, here's what they want:

Brains = A mother of 4 who dominates leaderboards
Heart = An NFL player with a turnaround story
Courage = A boy band singer who wants to rock out

That's the tools they need in this championship final. Only one will be crowned champion in this tornado tag match, and that person will have the final 3-count. The closing of a season beings...NOW!

We start off with segments where the 3 couples choose their routines, both Latin & ballroom. After that, we announce the winners of the 2nd annual ballroom kids competition.........it is............Craig & Samantha! Congrats for your efforts, kids, but we gotta get to the actual competition.

SAMBA SMACKDOWN

For this first round, all 3 must dance to the same song, and "Blame It On The Boogie" by The Jacksons is the selection. Brooke & Derek go first. First, Brooke does a circle kick and a 3/4 split. Next up is Lance & Lacey. Lacey did a crawl back through move and both did some fast footwork. Last up, Warren & Kym. Warren did a cartwheel and Kym did a few spins. Everybody came back with the big merry-go-round ending and that brings us to the end of the ride. Let's check the score after round 1:

Brooke & Derek-28
Lance & Lacey-26
Warren & Kym-25

Now the round where a financial bailout plan can't save you. It's the freestyle round. Here we go...

FREESTYLE ROUND

Up first will be Brooke & Derek doing "You're The One That I Want" from "Grease." Brooke assisted Derek with a zombie gesture and after a flying move, Brooke used both feet to kick Derek in the back. She later danced on the judges' table and took off her 50's dress to reveal her new one. Derek joined her and leaped off while Brooke jumped to save her. After a rollover move by both, that was it. On to the judges. Carrie Ann said both brought it, Len said it was the best freestyle ever seen and Bruno said they're the one that they want. On to the numbers.

CARRIE: 10
LEN: 10
BRUNO: 10
Round 2 Score: 30
Overall Score: 58

Next up, Lance & Lacey doing "It's Tricky" by Run-DMC. They started by putting their elbows on the judges' table and showed their "10" scores. Lacey did a fast puppet move and they did a human monster move. And we go to the judges. Carrie Ann said there was a little Cha Cha thrown off, Len said he was really pleased with it and bruno said it had creativity & wit. Where's the scoreboard?

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 9
BRUNO: 9
Round 2 Score: 27
Overall Score: 53

Finally, Warren & Kym doing "Proud Mary" by Tina Turner. Kym did a flying copter and after that, both disrobed their clothing. Kym later did a flip over and another one. To the judges one last time. Carrie Ann said she saw a mistake, Len gave him credit for him being an entertainer and Bruno said lay back & enjoy the ride. The ride won't be over until we see the scoreboard:

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 10
BRUNO: 9
Round 2 Score: 28
Overall Score: 53

Ride's over. Brooke has only 58 while Warren & Lance have 53. The final nail in the coffin will be decided on tomorrow's show. Who will win. and who will get sprayed in danger? Find out. Good night, everyone.
