Week 6: They're All-In, Going Out, and All Around
October 27

Alec Mazo's women. Except for Kelly Monaco, he loves 'em and the public quickly leaves 'em. Toni Braxton however, made it up to the halfway mark, but no second title for Mr. Mazo. Tonight, they'll perform a routine and then everyone must perform a group dance. Let's rock 'em hard tonight!

If you're wondering why Len is here, well....he's not. It's the first time in over 100 shows he's missed a week. Michael Flatley, the lord of the dance is sitting in with Carrie & Bruno this week. So let's begin with a Viennese waltz done by Maurice & Cheryl to "Gravity" by John Mayer. Cheryl did spins and a few twirls along with more spins. Both did arm turns and Cheryl even did a slide & floor sweep. On to the judges. Carrie Ann said it was sweet, Michael said it was really beautiful stuff and Bruno said he's a surfer on dry land. Wave in to the scoreboard!

CARRIE: 7
MICHAEL: 7
BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 21
Off to a warming start.

Next up, Lance & Lacey doing a jive to "Tutti Frutti" by Little Richard. Lance slid on the rail of the stairs and danced solo at the band area. He even did a slide, and another slide-through. Let's slide on with the judges. Carrie Ann said it listened, Michael said it came out smoking and Bruno said he's back on target. Let's shoot down the scoreboard.

CARRIE: 9
MICHAEL: 9
BRUNO: 9
Total Score: 27
And they have the lead!

And it's Susan & Tony's turn to mambo to "Si Senor." Both did arm work and Susan did a little leg work with a back slide and an animal gesture. Please don't feed the judges. Carrie Ann said it broke the box, Michael said it was the epitome of elegance, grace & beauty and Bruno said the timing went off. The scoreboard will go off in 7 seconds.

CARRIE: 8
MICHAEL: 8
BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 23
And they now have a 2nd place score.

Moving on are Brooke & Derek doing a rumba to "No Air" by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown. Brooke battled through a foot injury earlier and it worked. One highlight you might see was both walking around, but we walk over to the judges. Carrie Ann said it's not her best dance, Michael said it was brilliant and Bruno said the executions weren't sharp. On to the numbers:

CARRIE: 8
MICHAEL: 10
BRUNO: 8
Total Score: 26
And they quickly take 2nd place.

Now up, Cloris & Corky doing a cha-cha to "Come See About Me" by Diana Ross & The Supremes. Corky danced solo and puts his hat on Cloris. Both did a slow Irish jig and Cloris did a floor spin. On to the judges. Carrie Ann asked why she might leave the ballroom, Michael talked about why she's an inspiration to older men and Bruno asked why people buy her nonsense. Here's a scoreboard for free....

CARRIE: 5
MICHAEL: 5
BRUNO: 5
Total Score: 15
And they stick into last place.

Now, Cody & Julianne doing a samba to "Whine Up" by Kat Deluna. It brought energy & vibe to the ballroom. On to the judges. Carrie Ann said it was the most intense samba, Michael said it had great strength and Bruno said it had no balance. let's balance the perfect numbers:

CARRIE: 8
MICHAEL: 8
BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 23
And they tie for 3rd place.

And for last, Warren & Kym doing a rumba to "Irreplaceable" by Beyonce. Kym was tossing stuff onto the ballroom and she did a foot slide and in the end, she walked out & warren stayed there. Let's stay here with the judges. Carrie Ann said it was very sexy, Michael said it was the perfect technique and Bruno said it made some mistakes for the big man. Now, the scoreboard:

CARRIE: 8
MICHAEL: 9
BRUNO: 8
Total Score: 25
And now they go for 3rd place.

Now we check the scores:

27 -- Lance & Lacey
26
-- Brooke & Derek
25 -- Warren & Kym
23 -- Susan & Tony, Cody & Julianne
21 -- Maurice & Cheryl
15 -- Cloris & Corky

And now, the group dance. This time, Old school hip-hop. Shotyme gave the couples a shot at it and we're ready. "It Takes 2" by Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock is the song and 1 man next to the judges table kicks it off. Corky breakdanced and cheryl did a jump over. Kym did a slide through & reverse move while the C's get a silly ending.

Guess that's it? Nope. We got a results show to get to. It should be waaaaaay fun. Hop at ya later, everyone!
