Week 4: The Doctors...
October 13

Last week was a bye week. This week, one couple goes bye-bye. So far, Brooke is running away with 28 and Cloris getting run over with 16. Tonight will be the samba and the tango, so let's load up the memory card and load again.

Maurice & Cheryl went first doing a samba to "That's The Way I Like It" by KC & The Sunshine Band. It was influenced by disco, but did the judges like it? Carrie Ann said he's stuck at the same place, Len said to work on refining the dance and Bruno said it was a bit too loose. Let's tighten the screw loose on the scoreboard:

CARRIE: 6
LEN: 7
BRUNO: 7
Second Routine Score: 20
Overall Score: 40

Next up, Cody & Julianne doing a tango. One highlight you might see is Cody doing a knee spin while showing a leg. Now let's get a leg up with the judges. Carrie Ann loved a proper tango, Len said it's his best dance so far and Bruno said he's starting to find his mojo. Let's find the scoreboard!

CARRIE: 7
LEN: 8
BRUNO: 8
Second Routine Score: 23
Overall Score: 44

Toni & Alec will now samba. Both danced at the band area and a little arm work. Toni did some spins and even more before Alec did a slide through at the end. We go to the judges. Carrie Ann said the sensuality was beautiful, Len said she put in those samba rolls she liked and Bruno said she's a tasty morsel of sugar of spice. Let's go Powerpuff on the leaderboard.

CARRIE: 7
LEN: 7
BRUNO: 8
Second Routine Score: 22
Overall Score: 44
The team of Cloris & Corky are next doing a tango. Both did a grasp hi-5 and some inane foot circles. Cloris even had the difficulty of turning a leg circle into a ballerina, but she's okay. On to the judges. Carrie Ann said it underestimated her, Len said it was absolutely fabulous and Bruno said she;s the grand dutchess. Gentlemen, start you numbers!

CARRIE: 8
LEN: 7
BRUNO: 7
Second Routine Score: 22
Overall Score: 38

We're ready for Rocco & Karina doing a samba. Rocco pulled part of Karina's dress off and she did an outstanding move and used her belly as bongos by Rocco before she ripped Rocco's shirt arms off. Now let's rip off the judges....nevermind. Carrie Ann said it lacked dancing, Len said it was very good and Bruno said his accountant does a better samba. Let's add up the numbers.

CARRIE: 6
LEN: 6
BRUNO: 6
Second Routine Score: 18
Overall Score: 38

Next, Susan & Tony do a tango. Both did nice footwork and Susan pretended to slap Tony at the end. Now we get dramatic with the judges. Carrie Ann said this is what it happens, Len said it had drama and Bruno said she showed it tonight. Let's show the scoreboard.

CARRIE: 8
LEN: 8
BRUNO: 8
Second Routine Score: 24
Overall Score: 45

Brooke & Derek now samba. They brought rhythm throughout the routine. On to the judges. Carrie Ann said it blended athleticism & grace, Len said it was slighty too erotic and Bruno fired back by telling everyone this pleased anybody. On to the scoreboard:

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 8
BRUNO: 9
Second Routine Score: 26
Overall Score: 54

Then, it's Lance & Lacey dancing a tango to "Disturbia" by Rihanna. After an interesting intro, Lacey did a few spins and everything went fast from there. Let's quickly go to the judges. Carrie Ann said tonight was amazing, Len called him "Sir Dance A Lot" and Bruno called it a quicky Gothic tango. Time to glow in the dark....

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 8
BRUNO: 9
Second Routine Score: 26
Overall Score: 48

And finally, Warren & Kym doing a samba. How did this happen? Carrie Ann said it lacked a hair of content, Len said it had too much gyrating and Bruno said he didn't do it tonight. Did it hurt the scoreboard? I think not.

CARRIE: 8
LEN: 7
BRUNO: 7
Second Routine Score: 22
Overall Score: 47

Okay kids, get on upstairs and go to bed, the show's over. Before you brush your teeth and wash your face, stare at the scoreboard if you will:

54 -- Brooke & Derek
48 -- Lance & Lacey
47 -- Warren & Kym
45 -- Susan & Tony
44 -- Toni & Alec, Maurice & Cheryl, Cody & Julianne
38 -- Rocco & Karina, Cloris & Corky

So that's it, no more dancing to do and everybody's in the parking lot. But tomorrow, the results show will send 1 more couple home for the first time in 2 weeks. Hope to see you soon for it.
