Week 3: 1... 2... 3... Kick the Bucket!
October 6

Kim Kardashian may have a boyfriend who plays for the Saints, but she played like the Lions as she got fired by the ballroom's tenants. With the fall temperatures dropping, we're warming up as our 10 couples perform a Viennese waltz or a jive. No coin toss here, let's kick it off!

Susan & Tony go first as they jive to "Why Do Fools Fall In Love?" Susan jumped off the steps and she did a slide through. Both did arm work and Susan did a split from there. Now to the judges. Carrie Ann said it seemed a bit timid, Len said it kept the constant standard throughout and Bruno said it got the look right. Let's get the scores...

CARRIE: 7
LEN: 7
BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 21
We're on our way to a good start.

The next couple to dance is Lance & Lacey doing a waltz to "Let Me Leave" by Marc Broussard. They didn't leave the couches as of yet, but they left the scoreboard like this:

CARRIE: 8
LEN: 7
BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 22
And they're now in the lead!

Next up is Maurice & Cheryl doing a jive to "Rock Around The Clock" by Bill Haley & The Comets. They rocked like it on the floor, but did the judges rock with their scores? Let's find out.

CARRIE: 8
LEN: 8
BRUNO: 8
Total Score: 24
And now the lead has changed hands.

Rocco & Karina do a Viennese Waltz to "What's New Pussycat" by Tom Jones. The claws came out for dancing, but we got a score check.

CARRIE: 7
LEN: 7
BRUNO: 6
Total Score: 20
They end up dead last.

Next was Warren & Kym doing a waltz to "Lovin' You" by Alicia Keys. The fans still loved what they saw like last week, but did the judges love it? Score time!

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 9
BRUNO: 8
Total Score: 25
We got another lead change.

Cody & Julianne did a jive to "Call Me The Breeze" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I was blown away by their dancing, but we leave a windy trail to the scoreboard:

CARRIE: 7
LEN: 7
BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 21
It's a tie for 4th place.

From the "What The....?" dept., Toni & Alec dance a waltz. The song: "Fur Elise" by Beethoven. We're not making this up. To the scoreboard:

CARRIE: 8
LEN: 7
BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 22
It's now a tie for 3rd place.

Next was Cloris & Corky doing a jive to "The Girl Can't Help it" by Little Richard. Hmmm, I may wonder why she's not doing so well. Maybe the scoreboard can help.

CARRIE: 6
LEN: 5
BRUNO: 5
Total Score: 16
Sent to the basement.

Last to take the floor was Brooke & Derek doing a waltz to "Daughters" by John Mayer. Did her waltz keep it going? Let's check the scores one last time:

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 10
BRUNO: 9
Total Score: 28
What a Way to end it!

Our GSNN newshounds tell us that Misty May-Treanor suffered an Achilles tendon rupture. And you're thinking this season is getting worse. Misty decided to hang up her shoes for the whole season, and to make things fair, this week's votes and scores will be combined with next week's votes and scores to determine the next celebrity eliminated. In the meantime, let's get the whole scoreboard:

28 -- Brooke & Derek
25 -- Warren & Kym
24 -- Maurice & Cheryl
22 -- Lance & Lacey, Toni & Alec
21 -- Susan & Tony, Cody & Julianne
20 -- Rocco & Karina
16 -- Cloris & Corky

Good news for our 9 couples, they get a free ride to next week, meaning no elimination and they'll just have to face the red light for the heck of it. We'll see you in 23 hours for the results show. Nighty-night.
