"Episode 2.70: Season
Finale" - June 18
Last season on Deal or No Deal, we
had highs (Michele Falco winning $750,000)... and lows (Julie
Lanero winning a dollar)... Prizes (Zanny Henseler winning an
Escalade) and surprises (Arthur Joseph meeting Dwayne Wade)...
Triumph (Jed Dodds trading a penny for $172,000)... and tragedy
(Kimberly Chastang holding $1 million)... after tragedy (Tammy
Fuller holding $1 million)... after tragedy (Dave Atherton
holding $1 million)... In all, over $11 million - as well as
countless priceless moments - were made on this stage (and at
least one front yard).
And now it all comes down to this,
as Deal or No Deal closes the book on another great season.
So for one more time... here comes
our dealer... LAUREL MARTIN! Laurel is a preschool teacher, and
her husband and her are here celebrating their anniversary. She
has two sons and is all about family (she's the oldest of 10).
And they're all with her today!
In 100-plus episodes, no one has won
the big one. Will Laurel be the first? We find out as we pick
case #19...
Saying bye-bye to Mylinda for the
summertime.... Starting with six.

Aside from the kids and
grandkids, Carla (sister), Charles (husband), and Kyle (oldest
son) are on hand to give Laurel support. They ... and Danny
Glover... all say "No deal" Wait, who let Danny Glover in here?
Truth of the matter is that he comes from a long line of
teachers, and were it not for Hollywood, he would've been one.
But back to the game. She says no
deal.

As soon as we return from break,
the ladies return... this time, decked in red... because red is
sexy. Hey, Laurel said it, not me... I agree, but... yeah. It's
a dealer's board. The banker's going to try and psychology her
with this...

There's a 38% chance that Laurel
is sitting on six figures. OR she can take the sure thing and
have six figures that way, but it is a dealer's board with three
big cases and two to open next round. ...
NO DEAL!
Among the lowest and among the
highest. This ought to drive the bank up.

She has a while to think about
it. Now it's still a dealer's board. And six figures is still a
guarantee right now. "The chances are you might do better. Is
might good enough for you?" That's what Charles says. Kyle wants
one more cases. This seems easy... NO DEAL!

It's still a dealer's board. Is
Laurel's chance at a million worth $272,000? She has a 40%
chance at six figures... or she can take the six figures offered
right here and now. Everyone is saying no.
Laurel says.... DEAL for
$272,000! The last big winner of the season, BUT is it a good
deal?
Sara had... $200. The banker
would've put up... $368,000. Aubrie had... the dollar. Bank
offer this time... $496,000. Pilar had... $500,000. The bank
offer... $520,000.
In Laurel's case...
A great deal! Alike had the
million! What a way to end the season!
Thanks for watching, and we'll
see you next!
