"Episode 2.20" - November 2

Last time, Tracee Jones, sold her case for $265,000 under increasing pressure. Then auditioner Kevin O'Bryan was thrust into the game with a $28,000 for his $10 case.

But tonight, "one woman, could blow the lid off this whole thing." How far will ANITA ENGLISH go? Let's find out.

Anita has brought her cell phone, because every day she and her mother play the Lucky Case game, and nowhere in the rules did it say that she can't play while she's playing the studio game...

(C-Note: Let me take a look here...

... Nope. Legal.)

"It's on and poppin'" with this printer from St. Charles, MO. She picks #4.

Again, not a bad round. The top five are still in play. It's basically a half-and-half at this point. The banker sees this and is willing to offer...

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000

$ 400 $ 500,000

The girls say no deal... That's what Anita says. Three more.

5

$25,000

18

"Mama's happy tonight!"

$25

19

$200

This may be the best board in Deal or No Deal history. "He's speechless." He needs some time. He'll call us back with the offer. And he does.

"This is serious..."

BANK OFFER
$292,000

$ .01 $ 1,000
$ 1 $ 5,000
$ 5 $ 10,000
$ 10 $ 25,000
$ 25 $ 50,000
$ 50 $ 75,000
$ 75 $ 100,000
$ 100 $ 200,000
$ 200 $ 300,000
$ 300 $ 400,000
$ 400 $ 500,000
$ 500 $ 750,000
$ 750 $ 1,000,000

There's a 62% chance that Anita is sitting on at least $300,000. There's a 100% chance of $292,000 if she decides to take it. "My mama deserves more than that." No deal!

10

$10,000

The banker's just shaking his head in utter disbelief...

21

"You're safe."

$300,000

It's still good, and to say that this is a Dealer's board is an understatement. The banker...

BANK OFFER
$411,000

  $ 400,000
  $ 500,000
$ 1 $ 750,000
$ 50 $ 1,000,000

That's a home and then some, or she can open up one more case. That's right down the middle. She could very well be the biggest winner this show has had.

Meanwhile, Anita's mom takes time to call. She would say "Deal", but "she'd say "No deal.", so I'm going along with her." Anita... sure enough... says "No deal."

One more case...

1

After the break...

$750,000

The banker's starting to feel a little better. It's a small hit. Million's still there, though. The only way to have a CHANCE at it, though, is to play the game to the end. The banker offers...

BANK OFFER
$347,000

  $ 400,000
  $ 500,000
$ 1 $ 750,000
$ 50 $ 1,000,000

Dad says that he's with Anita no matter what. But still, he'd take the lead. There are still three more cases bigger than that amount.

"If you feel it, go with it."

She does. No deal. One more...

22

"It's not the million."

$400,000

Ever the optimist, that Laura. Let's see how nice the banker is this time...

BANK OFFER
$377,000

  $ 400,000
  $ 500,000
$ 1 $ 750,000
$ 50 $ 1,000,000

Here, it's a 50/50 shot. The girls say "no deal".

Anita complies.

26

"It's not the million!"

$500,000

That is true, BUT the safety net is now gone. Knock out the million, and it's game over. The banker calls...

BANK OFFER
$313,000

  $ 400,000
  $ 500,000
$ 1 $ 750,000
$ 50 $ 1,000,000

There is now a one-in-three chance that Anita has a million. Her sister says the million is in that case... Again, the only way to win the million is to play the game to the end.

The girls want to pull out. "That board is too scary even for me."

"I will still have this gut when I go home with $313,000." DEAL! She played it right, but did she make a good deal? We'll see in a bit, but first...

Hey look, it's mama!

Now to the cases... Jill had... the million! Anita had...

Anita's Case

That'll buy a big home for mama. But what does fortune have in store for the next player? We'll find out next time, won't we?
