"Episode 2.33: The
Twist" -
January 7
Last time, Tommy Turpening went the
distance and won just $200. Now Shannan Justice continues on,
having turned down $58,000 for the CHANCE at $750,000 which
may... or may not... be in her case, #24. She'll continue with
her game... tomorrow. What we have right now is a special ep of
DoND with a special twist... more on that later.
Right now, time to meet today's
Dealer, KATHY BECK. She's a big fan of the movie "Grease" (pay
attention; this is relevant)... which is premiering in reality
show form right after this broadcast.
The game remains the same, of
course, except of course, for a twist that will allow Kathy to
walk away with $2 million.
Kathy picks #10...
She was just feeling it at the
moment. Next up, the first six...

for the first offer of the night.... in the Vault... a huge vat
of grease and $10,000. It's an opening deal worth...

going to get his own room. With a hand-jive, Kathy says no deal.

The family wants one more case.
So does Kathy.

the more she has going into the twist.
We're going to it right now. DEAL
for $99,000! Was it the right decision?
Jill had $75. Bank offer:
$142,000. Lindsay C had... $200. Bank offer then: $215,000.
Marisa had... $100. New bank offer... $401,000.
In Kathy's case...
A great deal!
But this deal isn't over. Because
it's time to see if Kathy can take home a total of $198,000. The
game is simple if you saw the Australian version of "Deal or No
Deal."
It's time to play "Double or
Nothing"!
In a moment, we'll have two big
cases. One says 'DOUBLE". Pick that case, and your winnings will
double. Pick the one that says "NOTHING"... and ... well, let's
not think about that.
OR she can go home with the
$99,000 she's won prior. So Kathy, will you play Double or
Nothing?
Nope. But just for shiggles,
let's see what would have happened. Kathy would've gone left.
Open the case, ladies...
She would've won $198,000. But
she does win $99,000.
The game we started Wednesday
will continue tomorrow. See you then.
