"Episode 2.11" - October
9
Last time, Elna Himmler took the
bank for $193,000, while she could've gotten $500,000. Adalis
Marrero is now in the deal, as she brushed off an offer of
$83,000 for her case, #13.
Round four coming, as we remove
three.

The one unhappy man in the room,
the Banker, is especially unhappy at the moment, offering the
following with a 50/50 chance at a huge amount.

If she takes the offer, $196,000
is hers, BUT she still has four big amounts remaining. She wants
to take home a big prize for her husband Lucas, who is, for all
we know (because NBC is known for this sort of thing), still in
New Jersey with the kids via satellite. "Tell el banco no cosio!"
NO DEAL it is. Two more cases...
|
$1,000,000 The bank
offer will decrease, although the board still favors the
dealer. |
|
$10,000 |
One good case... one horrible
case. We're still at a 50/50 chance of at least $300,000. The
banker says "Thank you."

a bit...

The board is still good, but the
offer continues to dive.

Two big amounts. One case next
round. Will she risk the $98,000 for another case? Deal or No
Deal?
NO DEAL! Remember, there is no
reward without risk.
Back to a 50/50 shot. What's the
banker thinking? Adalis decides to answer the phone. "ˇHolaaaaaaaa!...
Here's Howie." The bank goes up on it...

The friends are all agreed that
this is not the time yet. NO DEAL.
One more case... Luke gets to
choose... AFTER she turns down $139K.
The good news is that it isn't
the biggie. The bad news... she may have to walk now, because
now it's the banker's board...

The landmine is also the
goldmine. She talks to Lucas now... "You're going to have to
make this call." Someone else says "Ride the wave!" What, are
you kidding?
NO DEAL IT IS! Two cases left, 3
and 25... Meanwhile, her friends sound like they've been at
Mike's DOND page, as they call Lisa as the one who's holding the
prize. Lisa... just shrugs.
|
Are they right in this particular case?
All or nothing...
Adalis lies down... the
friends lie down... Hayley lies down... the CASE lies
down... This is just crazy...
And it's over. $500,000. |
Her gusto and determination are
applauded, but the final bank offer is...

No deal. She's given the option
to switch. She declines, which means Adalis Marrero wins...
She pushes her luck one step too
many. But again, worth the trip.
Next up, MARK WILLIAMS. He's been
married for nine years, and he's a correctional officer. And
he's a huge Lakers fan.
Pay attention. That's relevant.
Mark picks #17 in memory of his
father.
You know the game by now. We
start with six.

chance to open the ones on the left hand side. "I can't stop. I
won't stop. NO DEAL!"
We do stop for a bit, because
Mark needs a cheering section. And because this show comes
equipped with a hero button, we have five Laker Girls!
Four to go.
