Cry For
Me Argentina
August 10
The female teams of Cara Maria & Laurel,
Paula & Evelyn, and Jenn & Mandy have already become the first three
pairs of finalists. One more jungle game will determine the other
three pairs for the men. But for the seven teams remaining, they will
not know what to expect then they end up in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The challengers then have a toga party and then a few of the guys
throw cookies at Mike while he's trying to get some sleep. This kind
of action gets him upset and yells at them and goes to another
bedroom. Then the players pack their bags and they head off to
Argentina.
When the challengers get to Buenos Aires, they stay at a nice villa.
But it won't be nice for very long as the challengers go mental. Wes
then plays a cruel joke on Cara Maria, which leads her to break down
emotionally. Laura has Cara Maria's back and she defends her and tries
to conduct the same cruel prank on Wes. Kenny stops Laurel and then
gets a small bottle of water thrown at allegedly by Johnny. Then
Laurel gets in Paula's face and puts her in her place.
After a very emotional night, the players meet T.J. for their next
challenge.
Challenge #8: Bombs Away
One player of each team will be strapped to the bottom of an emergency
helicopter, then their partner has to climb up a rope and pull a
yellow cord to release their partner. Any player who falls in the
water before releasing their partner will result in a disqualification
for them. The male and female teams who complete the challenge in the
fastest times wins.
All of the teams have completed their rounds, except for C.T. and
Adam, who are going into the final jungle. As for Ev and Paula, they
win for the girls and get the last $2,000 cash prize of the season. On
the Men's side, Leroy and Michael win immunity and they're guaranteed
to be one of the final three pairs of male finalists.
Up until this point in the season, the teams had to deliberate on who
would play against an opposing pair in the jungle. But the decision
time for the challengers is now. Two of the teams voted for Kenny and
Wes, but four votes send Johnny and Tyler into the jungle against C.T.
and Adam. Johnny and Tyler are shocked by this turn of events created
by their friends Paula and Evelyn. Then Tyler runs around the villa to
place blame on the other challengers because he's afraid of a re-match
with C.T.
The challengers then go to a nightclub where Adam's mob friends turn
on him and try to get inside his head before the jungle.
