Gina won a badly-needed immunity last round.
Had she not won it, she probably would've been sent home. Instead, it's
Alex getting the boot, leaving us with our final five, and that
means.... MAKEOVERS!
As we begin the next phase of
the competition...
Danni Allen: 184
Joe Ostrazewski: 261
Jeff Nichols: 295
Jackson Carter: 250
Gina McDonald: 173
And right now the Losers are in a limo
heading toward their reward for making it this far. And helping them out
is... TV's Tim Gunn. He and Ken Paves will be transforming our players
into better specimens of themselves to show off to their families and
friends later this week.
BUT... they're not the only ones getting
a makeover. Time to bring on our kid ambassadors. Because... they have
to figure into this episode somewhere. And Tim is just the person who
will give them style tips that they can carry with them for the rest of
their lives.
Without getting into specifics, Tim Gunn,
in the realm of fashion challenges, could've been done in by a
13-year-old boy. He's not a fan of hoodies.
Now the Losers - all eight of them - are
going home to loving and cheering arms. ... and a letter from the Ranch.
CHALLENGE #13: Challenge Yourself...
Challenge America
"Congratulations on making it this far,
but you didn't really think we'd send you home without a challenge, did
you? In fact, we're sending you home with two.
"First is to challenge yourself. If you
can lose 5% of your body weight over the next two weeks, you will earn
immunity the next weigh-in. If you don't, you are up for elimination.
There is no Yellow Line. Remember, the further you get into the
competition, the harder it gets to lose weight.
"Your second task is to challenge
America. Tomorrow you will lead a workout for your friends, family, and
community. It's your turn to show off what you've learned and help your
community get moving!"
And of course, while you're at home,
you're going to face a few temptations that you spent a long ten weeks
trying to avoid. So now let's see what you've really learned. Looks like
Jackson's already gotten a good start.
FOLLOW UP! Alex got a makeover of her own
after losing 75 pounds on the ranch.
Dateline! Alabama! Gina is trying to make
some really good choices with her food... As is Jeff... As is Joe... who
orders an extra-large cheese pizza straight up. JUST KIDDING! He grills
up a snapper over lettuce with a side of steamed broccoli. Gina... well,
call it a case of mistaken identity. Sure. And my name is Gordon Pepper.
Jeff... calls his friends out on a 1200-calorie hamburger while eating a
nice chicken salad.
And we have one more surprise for Jeff,..
turning his room into mini-gym. Nice.
We haven't seen much of Danni, have we?
Let's go to Chicago, who gets to spend time with her father, who almost
died due to heart problems. Danni's here to help change the tide.
Next day, the Losers challenge their
communities and America as a whole to get up, get moving, and get
active. Anyone see the irony about this on a TV show? Anyways, Danni
gets a little help.. from season 11 winner Olivia Ward. The rest
of the team is pretty much on their own.
By the way, everyone in Danni's group
gets Subway gift cards. Gee. I wonder who the producers want to win.
Meanwhile, Sunny confides in her
struggles with bulimia, Biingo gets a vote of confidence from her
sister, who is inspired by him.
CHALLENGE AMERICA: ... Walk. Long Beach
Losers are. So should you. Go to BiggestLoser.com to find out how.
Back at the Ogden OUTreach Center,
Jackson teaches about goals... not just goals, SMART goals (Specific,
Measurable, Attainable, "Rearavent" (sic), Timely). It's all about
investing in yourself and your time. Now... hit the gym.
24 hours until the weigh-in... Danni is
running.. Joe and Henry are hitting the gym as twins. Jackson isn't
giving an inch... and neither is Jeff... or Gina.
As a reminder, here's what everyone needs
to lose more than in order to avoid elimination...
Danni: 9 lbs
Joe: 14 lbs
Jeff: 15 lbs
Jackson: 12 lbs
Gina: 8 lbs
WEIGH-IN #10
Danni: 174 (-10) - 5.43% - SAFE
Jackson: 235 (-15) - 6.00% - SAFE
Joe: 244 (-17) - 6.51% - SAFE
Jeff: 276 (-19) - 6.44% - SAFE
If Gina does not make the weight, she
will be eliminated.
Gina: 163 (-10) - 5.78% - SAFE
All five players will return to compete
NEXT WEEK, but it's still anyone's game.
... especially if Ali has one more thing
to say. First of all, it's the last week on the ranch. Good for that.
Second...There's one weigh-in left. Two people will move to the
finals... The other three have two problems... one yellow, one red. And
in the end, it will be America's choice as to who will play for
$250,000.
