Last week, Danni was a team of one, and she
shouldered the responsibility of the team of one incredibly, doing what
she had to do in order to stay in the competition. But it turned out
that she didn't need a bonus two pounds in order to make the weight
needed to survive. It was a tough choice between Lisa and Jackson as to
who to send home. That would be... Lisa.
As we begin the second half of
the competition...
RED
Joe: 299
Francelina: 224
Jackson: 280
BLUE
Gina: 197
Michael: 371
Jeff: 329
David: 253
Alex: 207
WHITE
Danni: 213 (-9)
This week, one teammate will shoulder the
responsibility of the entire team, because there are dice in play. But
we won't roll them - and by extension, we won't know who is going to
face the scale - until the weigh-in. So it's on everyone to lead by
example. And this leads Gina scared... and a bit stand-offish to Bob.
Will she rise up and accept the pressure and drive to succeed... or will
she crumble? All we know for sure is that this is not a good way to
start the week. Known: Gina is a threat. Known: Gina doesn't see herself
as a threat, which makes her also a target. Known: the time for her to
act on her fear is NOW. Known: Bob will NEVER give up on her.
Oh, and Danni... you don't have to roll a
die, because you're ... well, you're your whole team.
Jackson, after two solid weeks, has begun
to wretch again. And for once, he's sick and tired of it. But Dolvett
reminds him that he's never done one thing halfway, and that he respects
him for it. The taunting and the bullying, they're going to happen. But
what Jackson needs to do is rise above that.
Let's check in on the three kids, Sunny,
Biingo, and Lindsay. They're informed of this week's theme and a
challenge to inspire kids to lead better lives. Sunny was thinking about
running a circuit. Biingo is leading his sports club in school. But
Lindsay is going to steal the show. Trust me on this.
CHALLENGE #7: Keep Your Balance
It's the dice again. Whoever's face comes
up is going to represent their team in this challenge. One teammate will
traverse a balance beam and grab a plate with a calorie count, They'll
have to match it up with one of five foods - 1/2 double cheeseburger,
bagel with cream cheese & lox, nonfat yogurt with blueberries, ravioli
with meatballs, and grilled chicken with quinoa. First team to get it
right wins letters from home for their entire team.
By the way... there's also a matter of
swinging bars to watch out for. The players...
REDS: Jackson
WHITES: Danni (obviously)
BLUES: Gina (she's begging for it)
While they're challenging, let's FOLLOW
UP on Pam. She's down 65 since her elimination and every facet of her
life has changed.
Back to action, and much like "Wipeout"
before it... it's part cerebral, part organized mayhem... but mostly
mayhem.
If you're playing along at home...
Burger: 895
Bagel: 323
Yogurt: 142
Ravioli: 620
Chicken: 280
WINNER:.... DANNI!
Let's break and head to NY to see what
Sunny is doing with her gym class. It looks like she's ready to teach a
fitness circuit. And it looks like the kids are really involved with it.
To see Sunny's full workout circuit, head to BiggestLoser.com.
Biingo is going out of his way to expand
his sports club. He wants to see 30 people in the club, enough to play a
decent game of football for a change. His friends think that it's more
fun than anything they've done.
Back at the ranch, the Blues are feeling
the pressure to perform. The only real solution to the feeling? Hard
backbreaking work. And yet only David is out on the bikes WITH A BUM
LEG, MIND YOU... The rest of the Losers are inside the gym leading
by example, even with no trainers to get on them to do so. This is how
you lead.
Halfway into the journey... and it's time
to go to work again. "This is where the pain meets the pain." Thanks for
that, Dolvett. The Reds have won three of the last four weigh-ins. They
are targets. The Blues are "absolutely" set to lose the next weigh-in.
There are five of them. You need to start right now in order to keep the
team whole. As for Danni, Jillian's going to get her working... and Alex
of the Blues besides, because she's slow going and needs the extra
boost.
FOLLOW UP! Nikki left in week one of her
own volition and got a makeover for it. So far, she's lost 50, and if
she plays her cards right, she's got another 50 ahead of her. TC, on the
other hand, was eliminated via Red Line. He's lost 80 pounds so far.
Meanwhile, Alex is "over it". And Bob
gives her a tongue lashing over it. She has no idea what's going on, and
it's pissing her off. "Good!" She needs to do something different in
order to change or confuse her body into winning this week.
Okay, remember when I said that Lindsay
was going to steal the show today? Lindsay has organized a pep rally for
people who have been bullied. The takeaway: "I just don't want anyone -
ANYONE - to live with being bullied." And this is in front of people who
may or may not have actually bullied her. So that takes courage.
Meanwhile, because it's sweeps, here's Cody Simpson to surprise Lindsay
and to talk to the kids himself. And of course, there's a concert
involved.
Meanwhile, the Reds have gone boxing with
ANOTHER surprise guest... a friend of Dolvett's... I think you know
professional boxer, health & fitness expert, and TV host (not to mention
daughter of The Greatest of All Time) Laila Ali. Hopefully outside of
the ring instead of inside.
CHALLENGE AMERICA: Remember when Brita
helped Biingo's after school program out? Turns out that the FACULTY is
joining up on the challenge. Fact: 85 percent of kids don't drink enough
water.
Subway. Eat cash.
LAST CHANCE WORKOUT! David's a potential
threat, but his leg is still not 100 percent. Alex... is not sweating
beads of tears. Meanwhile, at a freerunning studio, we meet a ninja...
ANW All-Star Brian "Nosole" Orosco (C-Note: Did we mention season 5 is
forthcoming?). Danni... is not ready for season 5. But she's a sport
about it. And remember, you have to push through fear. I wonder what the
red team is doing. We haven't seen any of them yet... Oh wait, there
they are, Laila's putting them through hell. Turns out that she went
through hell herself getting into fighting shape. She was not an active
girl... more than made up for it.
WEIGH-IN #6
Tonight, the trainers will roll one die
to determine who will get to represent their team at the weigh in. The player with the
lowest percentage weight loss will send their team to vote.
Let's roll....
RED
Jackson: 279 (-1) (Dolvett sees it, but he doesn't see it)
Francelina: 217 (-7) - BIGGEST LOSER OF THE WEEK
Joe: 291 (-8) - LOST 2.68%
WHITE
Danni (needs to lose more than 5 lbs): 207 (-6) - LOST 2.82% (SAFE)
BLUE:
Gina: 193 (-4)
Alex: 204 (-3)
Michael: 363 (-8)
David: 250 (-3)
Jeff (needs to lose more than 8 lbs) : 323 (-6)
With that, the Blues will vote out their
weakest link at long last tonight.
Michael, as the player with the highest
percentage weight loss, is immune. In the event of a tie, the other
teams will return to vote.
Jeff - DAVID
David - JEFF
Gina - DAVID
Michael - DAVID
EPILOGUE: David has lost a total of 57
lbs. since starting at the ranch. Since being voted out of the game,
David has dropped SUBSTANTIALLY to 220, and that's in his kevlar. He's
been able to help his family and coworkers to get in shape. He's finally
fit enough to keep the streets of Oklahoma a little safer, and to keep
his life a little more appreciative. He is shooting for under 200 by
finale night.
