Will Cry Themselves to Death Last time, Kisha & Jen and Mark & Michael learned a hard lesson: always have your travel bag with you. In Mark & Michael's case, it meant that they had to trade personal effects to stay in the game... even though it now means that they are 3 hours and change behind the pack. Now with a Speed Bump thrown in, can they possibly avoid last place? PIT STOP Margie & Luke are taking off before everyone else again...
After having no luck trying to negotiate for tickets, Margie decides to look for one at the airport. They get there and have precisely one hour to get to their flight. In that one hour, Cara & Jaime jet for the airport. Victor & Tammy head for the airport excited that they get to head to their ancestral homeland and get to speak Chinese. On the 11:30 Flight to GUILIN via

Guangzhou Kisha & Jen are off with half an hour to get to the airport before the 1:15 flight leaves... Yeah, they're not going to make it. Jen is hoping that she won't have to knock over someone... knowing that she will. On the 3:20 Flight to GUILIN via
Guangzhou GUANGZHOU, CHINA Margie & Luke are the first to arrive, with ample time before their connecting flight. Margie thinks that the other teams are going to catch up... Well, three of them, anyway, because at 4:08, Mark & Michael's penalty time lapses, and they are free to go. On the 6:10 Flight to GUILIN via
Guangzhou Cara & Jaime and Victor & Tammy arrive to news that their flight is delayed... so they do indeed catch up with leaders Margie & Luke. Later that night... Kisha & Jen arrive at the party... and quickly depart due to booking on another airline. GUILIN, CHINA Kisha & Jen are the first to touch down, followed by Margie & Luke, Cara & Jaime, and Victor & Tammy. Tammy says that being able to speak the language gives them an advantage. But later they learn that all that maens is that they understand when he says that he doesn't know where he's going. Jaime & Cara know where they're heading... right past the Speed Bump and onto the next clue...
Meanwhile, Mark & Michael finally arrive in Guilin. Margie & Luke and Kisha & Jen run into each other, the Adams in a cab and the sisters on foot. And everyone's competitive now that there are no more NELs. Meanwhile the two teams have found the clue box... and don't even realize it. They find it at the same time. Luke is there first... Jen follows. She tries to pry it away from Luke. Luke is having none of it. And I think she called him a bitch. Now it's serious. Tammy & Victor are the first to the bridge, finding...
Tammy elects to perform, as does Cara. Mickey & Mark are still trying to catch up, while the two warring teams once again fight over a clue box. Jen and Luke go out on a boat. Hopefully, they're separate, otherwise someone's feelings are going to get hurt. Tammy's birds are uncooperative. Cara's... not so much. The other two teams don't have much of a problem either. Birds love to fight over these babies. Mark & Michael find their Speed Bump...
Mark & Michael start washing. Aaaaaaand TIME LAPSE! Over at the Roadblock, Luke gets pecked... by a bird. Cara & Jaime and Kisha & Jen are first to finish, but who will be first to the shore? It's Kisha & Jen.
Kisha & Jen are firm believers in karma. Cara & Jaime's hack finally gets that they are in a Race! Margie & Luke... finish. And Victor & Tammy's birds are flying away. And Mark & Michael are still washing hair. They finish, and the kid at the shop sends them to the #24 Bridge to continue the Race. Tammy finally finds her birds... and her fish... and the clue! Meanwhile, both the sisters and the Adams can't stop talking about each other and their respective bodychecks. Kisha & Jen are the first to get to...
Kisha & Jen go with calligraphy. Cara & Jaime are dancing. Of course. Tammy & Victor... get passed by Margie & Luke, who draw along with them. Mark & Michael head to the bridge, as Michael goes out on a boat. Let's go Dancing with the Amazing Racers! And then let's go writing. Victor & Tammy's spoken Chinese is flawless... Their written Chinese... not so much. As for Cara & Jaime. They cite their cheerleader experience in helping them out with this task... but dancing with these teachers... a whole 'nother ball of wax. They shake their booties right into other people's booties. Judges give them a fail. As we continue drawing, Victor & Tammy plead with the artist to draw fast, while the other teams follow suit. Michael catches his 10th fish. And Cara & Jaime fail... again. They beg for someone to speak English. And they quit the task and move to the other end of the Detour. The other teams finish their Detour, while Cara & Jaime give dancing one more go. The end result... it's a RACE now, because all four teams have gotten THIS!
Victor & Tammy are the first to spot the pagodas... Meanwhile... PIT STOP ... Phil and the happy locals are the first to spot them. And the sisters... AND the Adams! Who's going to be first? It's... KISHA & JEN! They will take home for their win this week a trip to Barbados. Tammy & Victor are second, while Margie & Luke are third. And Phil nails it on the head that things are getting a little bit tense. And it all comes to a head when Kisha starts laughing as Luke signs his side... Margie thinks that they're laughing at HIM, and they apologize if they get the wrong idea. Yeah, really whole hearted there, Kisha. Cara & Jaime finally get it, that they have to keep on going when the music keeps going. As a result, they clock in at #4. Mark & Michael decide to dance, but at the point, it's all for pride, as they're the last team to arrive. It was a good race and they ran it hard to the end... but this is where it ends. They hung in there tough, though, and they're better people for it. And Michael says it best... "This world is an amazing place."
