Last time, eleven teams left Sunny
California for slippery Switzerland, and after a cheese roll that
doesn't quite work out as it should, Cock Fighters Preston & Jennifer
were the last team at the first Pit Stop, leaving them as the first team
out. Now ten teams remain in the chase after a million dollars.

STECHELBERG, SWITZERLAND
0256 HOURS LOCAL TIME
After the teams get a 12-hour respite depending on their arrival time,
they set off one after another. Margie & Luke, the first to arrive at
2:56p will set off at 2:56a with this clue...

FLY TO MUNICH,
GERMANY!
Make your way to Munich, Germany. Once you land, drive yourself to
the village of Ruhpolding and ride a cable car to the top of the
mountain. Look for a marked path and follow it to your next clue.
You have $585 for this leg of the Race.

Victor & Tammy look for a flight that
leaves sooner than everyone else. Meanwhile, Mel is trying to work
through an injury. And Steve and Linda are trying to work through some
issues.
So far, the teams have found that the Swissair flight leaves at 7:10a.
That's the flight you want to be on. The next earliest is Lufthansa at
8:45. Michael & Mark use the remaining cab time... to chill.
Christie & Jodi are last to depart in the rain.
Tammy & Victor are first to the Swiss flight, followed by Margie & Luke.
Michael & Mark learn the hard way that you need to reserve your tickets
if you are to stand ANY chance of getting a flight. Jodi & Christie
learn that as well, as only one ticket is remaining. You need three.

Tammy & Victor are the first to Ruhpolding and the gondola. The rest of
the teams will have to wait 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the Jihs are the

WHO'S READY TO FLY
LIKE AN EAGLE?
Choose an instructor and, in tandem, paraglide off the ground to the
landing target 6000 feet below. Your partner must go down to the
waiting area by gondola and wait for you to arrive. Once the
paraglider lands and reunited with their partner, they'll receive
their next clue.
In the event of unsafe wind conditions, teams may wait an
undetermined amount of time for the winds to settle, OR take an hour
long hike back down the mountain following the marked path.
Important note:
For safety reasons, the person performing this task MUST be able to
hear verbal cues.

Tammy chooses her paraglider, and Kisha &
Jen are lost.
Tammy is forced to wait as the wind picks up. With the rest of the teams
on their way, she decides to hoof it. Mel is the only one who'll wait
for the wind to die down.
Victoria's walking... Margie's walking... Linda's walking... Kris'
walking... Jaime's walking... Luke's smitten. Aww.
Mark & Michael finally arrive, and Mel throws up a Hail Mary. Literally.
Meanwhile, Mark runs... Amanda runs... Kisha runs... That's everyone
except Mel...
But then something amazing happens... The wind dies down.
Tammy's the first one down, so she and Victor get this...

DRIVE YOURSELVES TO
SCHÖNAU AM KÖNIGSSEE!
Then find your next clue near the area of the bobsled track.

Mel flies like an eagle.
Margie's the next person down the mountain, followed by Kris and
Victoria. Linda gets lost. Mel finally makes it down to the bottom.
Meanwhile, Tammy & Victor are the first to arrive at...

BALANCING DOLLY or
AUSTRIAN FOLLY?
BALANCIG DOLLY: Ride one of the marked Segways through a
two-mile obstacle course. When you reach the finish, you'll receive
your next clue.
AUSTRIAN FOLLY: Find an Austrian party tent and throw pies made of
Austrian schlag at a target. When you find one with a cherry
filling, the Maestro will hand you your next clue.

There's one more thing to the last part
of the detour, but we'll get to that as the first team arrives.
Tammy & Victor choose the folly, and get this message once they get
there!

TIME TO HOOF IT!
Make your way on foot to the "Holzsager" near the Konigssee boat
landing and get a piece of wood. It will then be stamped with the
name of your next destination.

They make it to the Holzsager and insert
a coin for a piece of wood. Then the guy manning the attraction stamps
it with this...

Tammy & Victor are the first to head to the Pit Stop at Schloss
Hellbrunn! Remember, if they're the last team there, they may be
eliminated! Let's motor!
Meanwhile, Linda... is still lost as Mark and Jaime make it down the
mountain. And Linda.... is WAY off the mark. Kisha and Christie are
down, leaving little girl lost. She begs a local for help getting back
down the mountain to the cable car.
PIT STOP
SALZBURG, AUSTRIA
SCHLOSS HELLBRUNN
Tammy & Victor are the first at the castle, as they meet Phil and the
happy local.
"Tammy & Victor, you are team number... one!" They've each won a hybrid
go-cart for winning this leg of the race. Doink doink.
Meanwhile, Amanda & Kris throw pies. They get that done quickly and head
to the Holzsager, and then the Pit Stop.
Meanwhile, Linda finally finds Steve, and they head off.
Mel & Mike decide to take the Segways, while Luke takes one in the face.
And another. And another. Meanwhile, Mel & Mike get their clue. Brad &
Victoria go to the pie tent...
... while Kisha & Jen are lost. Again. Margie & Luke find a cherry pie
before Brad & Victoria arrive. Meanwhile, it's pie after pie, and clue
after clue, and piece of wood after piece of wood. Cara & Jaime go
Segway hopping, followed by the Cardinal Sisters and the Super Stunt
Brothers. Christie & Jodi, meanwhile, go get pie'd.
Mel & Mike are the next team to arrive at the castle... but they have a
hard time getting inside. Phil gives us the people's eyebrow. But they
clock in at #2, followed by Amanda & Kris, Margie & Luke, and Brad &
Victoria.
One by one, the teams finish their Segway rides and head to the Pit
Stop, leaving Christie & Jodi to get creamed.
Fourteen hours after the leg began, Jaime & Cara end up in sixth.
Christie & Jodi finally bust out some cherries, but know they have to
find the Holzsager. They think they can just find any old piece of wood
from a horse's stall and bring it to the Pit Stop. Can't do that. No one
there to stamp it.
Meanwhile, Steve & Linda release pressure by throwing things! And they
find the cherry! Meanwhile, Team Fly By Night is roaming around the
village... at night.
Jodi & Christie finally find the Holzsager and get their wood, as do
Steve & Linda. But they can't find the castle.
Kisha & Jen are team #7, followed by Mark & Michael.
That leaves the last two teams to hoof it up in a foot race to the crash
mat. And Jodi & Christie by a hair again! They clock in at ninth. Which
leaves Steve & Linda... who have been eliminated from the Race. Linda
immediately breaks down in tears, and Steve apologizes, though he has
nothing to be sorry for. They came in this together, and in the end,
they leave together and they live and love together. And that makes them
happy.
Good for them.
