Semifinals Round 1 Results
September 2

We've seen them before. We've seen what they can do. Now it's time to send four of the semifinals to the big stage? Who wowed the crowd enough to win your votes?

First onto the stage are Arcadian Broad, The Texas Tenors, and Drew Thomas Magic. Arcadian did a great job according to David. The Tenors were very professional according to Sharon. Drew did the same trick before according to Piers. The first act to go home tonight... Drew Thomas Magic. The first act to go to the finals is.... THE TEXAS TENORS!

Next up, we get a visit from Kermit & Miss Piggy, singing "Don't Go Breaking My Heart". Did we mention chickens and an emergency mix disc were involved? Because, you know... that's important.

The fight for the final resumes with seven remaining. Up next... Grandma Lee... Tony Hoard & Rory... and Paradizo Dance. Piers loves Grandma Lee's new material. Sharon thought Rory was spot on. David thought that Paradizo Dance was a little confusing. The next act to go home tonight... Paradizo Dance. But joining the Texas Tenors in the finals is... GRANDMA LEE!

Now for some pre-taped cool courtesy of resident Hoff-tastic judge David Hasselhoff with "Feeling Good".

Four acts remaining. Two spots remaining. The remaining four take the stage... Kevin Skinner, Acrodunk, The Fab Five, and the Voices of Glory. Kevin almost moved Piers to tears. He can move an audience. Acrodunk was a little shaky, but then they ripped it. Voices of Glory have talent, BUT sister girl is going to have to do some singing. As for the Fab Five... they're very Vegas. Next act going forward.... KEVIN SKINNER!

That leaves three acts remaining. One of them is about to go home. The other two will have to go to the judges. The next act to go home... Acrodunk.

That leaves only the Fab Five and the Voices of Glory, fourth and fifth respectively. The Voices say that this is an extraordinary experience. The Fab Five are excited either way, as they're big fans of the Voices of Glory.

Sharon... can't decide between the two.

David... can't decide between the two either.

And to cap off the most staged production of a judging panel EVER... Piers decides to "throw the rules out" and send BOTH acts are going to the final. So once again, your first finalists...

The Texas Tenors (singers)
Grandma Lee (comic)
Kevin Skinner (singer)
The Voices of Glory (singers)
The Fab Five (cloggers)

Next week, 10 more acts compete to complete the final roster.
