Quarterfinals Round 4 Results
August 26
Last night on America's Got Talent, we've
seen some mighty high highs and some mighty low lows... and then there
was Coney Island Chris. When the dust settled, though, five acts rose to
the challenge and will earn enough props to join the final 20. Then Reba
McEntire performs, and that should also be great.
Piers was lenient last night... Sharon
says that this show is surprises... And David says that the talent today
is "Hoff" the charts. BOOOO!
First forward are the EriAm Sisters and
Drew Stevyns. The judges thought the sisters' singing was great. The
judges through Drew's singing was the best of the night. Going forward
to the next round... DREW STEVYNS! And as the EriAm Sisters give their
consolatory props... Nick drops a bombshell... the ERIAM SISTERS are
ALSO through!
How do you like those results?
The quarterfinalists walk us through
their time in Hollywood... Including practice... choreography...
wardrobe... and pretending to be judges. Then they pack TV City in for a
good time.
So whose hard work will pay off? Next
up... African High Flyers... Pam Martin's Top Dogs... and Coney Island
Chris. The Flyers flew high, but not high enough. Pam and Spy moved and
moonwalked. Chris gets buzzed... Joining Drew and the EriAm Sisters in
the semis... NO ONE. And Chris is crying out of his glasses. Literally.
Next up... Recycled Percussion, Matt &
Anthony, and Ishaara. Recycled Percussion listened to the judges' advice
and rose to the occasion. Matt & Anthony were a little bit sloppy.
Ishaara were fresh and exciting. Going home out of this round is... Matt
& Anthony. Going through to the next round is... RECYCLED PERCUSSION!
We take a break from the results for one
of the best selling female artists of all time... With "Consider Me
Gone", here's Reba McEntire! She says that connecting with the audience
is key. Her new album has gone #1 tonight.
Two spots remaining... four acts
remaining... ... and they all take the stage next. The Lollipop Girls
were charming. Mia Boostrom was classy. Barbara Padilla was lights out.
Erik & Rickie were amazing. As we said before... Four acts... two
spots... one of them is NOT going to the Lollipop Girls. One of them
will go through... BARBARA PADILLA!
That leaves Erik & Rickie and Mia
Boostrom. Two acts, three votes, one winner.
David votes for... Erik & Rickie.
Sharon votes for... Mia.
It's up to Piers... He votes for... ERIK
& RICKIE! They're moving on!
