The Finale
April 8

This season on ABDC, it's been region against region to see who would come out on top as the best of the best. This lead, through elimination giving rise to elimination, like a row of dominoes falling, to the final two crews: Montreal-based Blueprint Cru from the East and California's Poreotix. One of them will rise above all others to take the $100,000 and be named... America's Best Dance Crew.

The question remains... will the Canadian underdogs make their invasion of America total... or will the boys from out west defend the title and keep the trophy in the West? That question will be answered... momentarily.

The 15 million votes cast have created the closest vote in ABDC history. Before we get to their results, we bring back Swagger Crew, Royal Flush, Static Noyze, Heavy Impact, Saltare, Jungle Boogie, and Hype 5-0 to join top two contenders Poreotix and Blueprint.

We kick off the finale with Omarion and the ABDC5 West All-Stars performing to Ke$ha's "Blah Blah Blah", bringing the "Hypeotix Impact". Then comes Lil' Mama and best of the East with Blueprint, Saltare, and Static Noyze performing to "Hot Mess" by Cobra Starship. Finally, JC is giving the South a little flavor, as Swagger Crew, Royal Flush, and Jungle Boogie set it off to "Take Your Shirt Off" by T-Pain.

After taking a look back at the journeys of Poreotix and Blueprint Cru, the two crews go at it against each other one more time to the drumline beats of Pulse Percussion.

JC said that the Blueprint has been underdogs all season, but they came together as a team and persevered, especially in the Lady Gaga Challenge. The togetherness is what being America's Best Dance Crew is all about. "You've done yourselves proud, you've done Canada proud, you've done ABDC proud." Omarion says that he was a tough judge all season, only because he wanted Poreotix to seek greatness. In the Usher and Lady Gaga challenges, they broke out creative monster moves. "Whatever happens tonight, well done gentlemen." Lil Mama sums up the season by saying that both crews were dedicated and strong. "With the votes being so close, that shows why you're here."

But America has the last word.

After 15 million votes....

... and after the tightest vote in ABDC history...

The winner of the $100,000...

... and America's Best Dance Crew...

There has to be a winner... there has to be a loser... and you were très courageux in your effort, but alas... Blueprint Cru's banner must fall...

And now we salute our champions as Randy Jackson arrives to present the championship trophy and to drop the championship banner. We end with one performance by the world championship crew, Poreotix.

The question now... do YOU have what it takes to put it down for your crew? Be on the lookout for season 6 calls. They're coming to you soon. Until then... good night from Los Angeles, where Poreotix of Westminster, CA is named AMERICA'S BEST DANCE CREW!

Next week, the five champions reunite for charity. For now... CONFETTI!
