It's a new calendar year, with three more shows to play for the foreseeable future. The first plays tonight as we passively salute healthcare.

First up tonight, a 45-year-old pharmacist from Woodland Hills, CA who attended Calvert Elementary, BARRY IRVIN! Here's his board.

5th Grade US History 5th Grade World Geography
4th Grade Cultural Studies 4th Grade Earth Science
3rd Grade Grammar 3rd Grade Math
2nd Grade Social Studies 2nd Grade Animal Science
1st Grade Spelling 1st Grade Measurements

Barry calls up Sierra to help him out first.

2nd Grade Animal Science $1,000 PEEK COPY SAVE
A beehive typically contains how many queen bees?

Barry guesses one... and we're on our way.

1st Grade Spelling $2,000 PEEK COPY SAVE
TRUE OR FALSE?
The last letter in "pickle" is a consonant.

"E" is a vowel, so that would be TRUE. Barry goes with that and gets to play with Nathan...

3rd Grade Math $5,000 PEEK COPY SAVE
Cody is putting books away in the library. He has 39 books. If each shelf can hold up to 12 books, what's the fewest number of shelves he'll have to use?

Divide 39 by 12 and you have 3 with 3 left over. Barry knows that that translates to four shelves.

1st Grade Measurements $10,000 PEEK COPY SAVE
How many US nickels would you need to have exactly 75 cents?

Five cents a nickel into 75 cents... is 15 nickels. That gives Barry 200,000 nickels.

Next to help with the milestone is Olivia.

3rd Grade Grammar $25,000 PEEK COPY SAVE
What word is the helping verb in the following sentence?
"Mackenzie must finish her homework"?

"Must" helps "finish." Barry takes that... and takes the $25,000.

4th Grade Earth Science $50,000 PEEK COPY SAVE
What type of rock is formed by the solidification of molten magma?
a) Igneous
b) Metamorphic
c) Sedimentary

With nothing to lose, Barry takes a PEEK. Olivia said... A. He eliminates C and instead of going with Olivia's answer, he guesses B. Absolutely wrong.

If the answer is A, then Olivia saves. If not, then Barry's going home with $25,000.

The answer... is A! SAVED!

Next up, Mackenzie...

2nd Grade Social Studies $100,000   COPY
CLASSROOM CLUB QUESTION from Douglas of Castlebay Lane Elementary
John Muir is known as the father of which US national institution?
a) Federal Reserve
b) Postal Service

c) National Park Service

Barry has no idea. He COPIES. The correct answer, C.

For $100,000, Mackenzie said... C!

Unfortunately, Mack has to return to the class, because Barry's all out of help.

5th Grade World Geography $175,000
What's the largest country by land area in Central America?

And with nothing but a guess to go on, Barry drops out.

DROP OUT: $100,000

He would've said Guatemala... and he would've GIVEN BACK $75,000. Correct answer: Nicaragua.

We're hoping our next player does just as well. Coming out now is a 34-year-old pediatric nurse from Walnut Grove Elementary in Walnut Grove... CINDY SHELTON!

The board that awaits her...

5th Grade US History 5th Grade Astronomy
4th Grade Math 4th Grade World Geography
3rd Grade Science 3rd Grade Social Studies
2nd Grade US Geography 2nd Grade Music
1st Grade Animal Science 1st Grade Spelling

A flamingo is pink when it's born.

2nd Grade US Geography $5,000 PEEK COPY

She uses her COPY. Correct... Violin.

a) Crest
b) Trough
