Twenty new castaways are literally lost on the island of Palau, between the world of nature and the world of WWII military. On this island, they have to brave the elements and each other for a chance to outwit, outplay, and outlast for $1 million.

Check out GSNN's Tribal Council to see who is left on the islands!

"Sumo at Sea: Days 9-11" - March 10

Day 9: If you build it... they will come. If you build it well... they will come back.

The day begins when Katie and Jennifer go out and get the crate-o-gram.

Today. you must send one and only one
"Tribal representative" to make some
important choices. The Tribe will then
have to live with those decisions.

What could this possibly mean? Is it time for a merge already? Or maybe it's time for a little bit of a switch. What could it possibly mean? The Koror wax philosophical on the meaning of the mail, as Coby makes it known that it could be a tribal switch and whoever is picked might not come back. The idea hushes everyone. Tom thinks that either Gregg or Ian should go. They have proven themselves to be strong leaders and quite clever when it comes to making good decisions. Coby, Caryn, Willard and Janu volunteer, but in the end, all four are shut down. Tom and the others ignore them and continue debating Ian over Gregg.

And, of course, since we have the most boring tribe ever (win, win, lose, win, win, laugh at the gay guy's speedo), it's only fitting that now, in this late hour of the early game, do we now only get some sense of factionalism. Coby notes that during the representative selection, he thinks that there's basically two camps: him, Caryn, Willard, & Janu... and everyone else. "It's five against four. We're the underdogs."

R-CHALLENGE: Building a Better Bathroom (for a specially constructed shelter by the Survivor production crew; Jenn, Coby & Janu sit out)

Jeff arrives with a big crate. What could be in the crate? We find out in a matter of moments, as Ian is chosen as our tribe's chief. Turns out that chief, in this case, means chief contractor, as Jeff opens the crate to reveal... salvation care of the Home Depot (because Lowe's sucks. Trust me. I've worked there). This is all a part of the reward challenge, as the tribe must create, using a shower, a toilet seat, lumber, twine, wire, nails, and their surroundings, a working bathroom. Ian gets to choose six tools from the crate to aid in this task. Ian's dad was a construction worker, so he figures that this will be a cakewalk.

The tribe, sans Jenn, Coby, and Janu, will have all day to finish their bathroom. The next morning, Jeff will arrive with Jesse, a right jolly old bloke who built all of the challenges you've seen since "Survivor Borneo" day one. He will judge the bathrooms on aesthetics, utility, and creativity. Jesse will bring his team to the winning camp to build a better shelter to go with the better bathroom. The loser will have to face off against the Craft Lady of Steel.

Ian is determined to pull out all the stops for this challenge. Willard: "Tom and Ian make a point of complementing everyone." He points out that while Ian is the chief, Tom is the guy that makes it all happen. Meanwhile Caryn has gone, oh, 15 minutes without complaining, so she's way overdue... no, wait. Here she is. Caryn can't stand the way everyone bows down to Tom. The women can't even throw a stick on the fire without consulting with Tom first.

Day 10: JUDGMENT TIME!

Jesse arrives with Jeff, as Tom gives him a literal tour of the facilities. Not bad, actually. Could be a little better, but at least that shed's sturdy. Well, we'll see later if we've won ourselves a mansion. Hint: if they haven't shown up by sundown, they're not showing up.

Ian is pleased with Koror's effort. If nothing else, they have a nice bathroom and a shower now. It looks like they'll have a little bit more, as Koror spots a boat ahoy. That's right... Shelter, ho! And Tom does a cartwheel on the beach, while Caryn notes that they're going to sleep soundly tonight.

Jesse's team of experienced builders (hey, five years, buddy!) speak not a word, but go straight to their work. And they built the team shelter, and turned with a jerk...

Ian thinks that their shelter is like a palace while Katie likes the hammock, the platform, and the picnic table.

And because Jesse and his team is British, we have to have a proper housewarming of... alcohol!

Day 11: More mail!

Square off in a circle
Against your opponents
Balance and strength:
The two crucial components.
David beat Goliath
Using brains over brawn.
Be the one to lose this one
You could be the next gone.

I-CHALLENGE: Sumo at Sea (Ian, Katie, and Willard sit out)

Welcome to the main event, as sanctioned by CBS Sumo Kyokai Grand Official Association. It is a sumo basho on a platform in the water. The players will use a cushion to substitute for a mawashi. There will be six to a banzuke, and basho will be like gender vs. like gender. Both hands must remain on the pad at all times and they can't use their legs or feet as weapons, as they are outlawed kimarite in the CBS Sumo Kyokai. First team to six is crowned Yokozuna, and will stay a little bit longer.

God bless the ring.

Round 1: Tom VS. Bobby Jon... FIGHT! Tom wins, Koror up, 1-0.
Round 2: Jenn VS. Stephenie... FIGHT! Stephenie wins, Tied at 1.
Round 3: Gregg VS. Ibrehem... FIGHT! Gregg shellacks Ibrehem, Koror up, 2-1.
Round 4: Caryn VS. Angie... FIGHT! Angie: "We are NOT going to Immunity... Tribal Council again!", Tied at 2
Round 5: Coby VS. Redneck James... FIGHT! Coby wins, Koror up, 3-2.
Round 6: Janu VS. Kim... FIGHT! Janu uses her showgirl powers to one-up Kim, Koror up, 4-2.
Round 7: Tom VS. Bobby Jon... FIGHT! Tom wins AGAIN, Koror up, 5-2.
Round 8: Jenn VS. Stephenie... FIGHT! Stephenie wins... AGAIN, Koror still up, 5-3.
Round 9: Gregg VS. Ibrehem... FIGHT! Ibrehem: "Get your ass up outta here!" Koror still up, 5-4, but Ulong on a hot streak.
Round 10: Caryn VS. Angie... FIGHT! Angie wins AGAIN, Tied at 5.
Final round: Coby VS. James... For all the marbles... FIGHT! Coby puts his back into it, sinking James, and sending Ulong to their fourth straight Tribal Council.

In a word.. SHUTDOWN.
