4.21 Diane Jorgensen ended up trading her case for $186,000. In it... $25,000. Then David Lee traded his case away for a suit of styrofoam and $24,000. In his case... only $400. Two good deals running. Will we see a third? That's up to DENISE CANARD, a single mom and special-ed preschool director from the Bronx. She always thought that 18 was a lucky number due to her son, so she goes with that case...
Starting with six... Going counterclockwise and skipping every other case. 21 (Tameka) - $200 Great first round. Great first offer...
Or she can take five more cases... NO DEAL! Denise wants to open her own preschool and help her mom out at the same time. And she wants to pay off student loans. Five more cases... 12 (Lauren) - $10,000 Offer still goes up...
Helping out are Shamar (husband), Yvette (mom), and Lisa (sister). They all say no deal. So does she. 2 (Stacey) - $500 Banker hits Denise...
It's a dealer's board. NO DEAL! 15 (Brooke) - $300 It's a half and half board...
There's a 50% chance that she's sitting on six-figures. But think about the car she needs... or the loans... There's a 38% chance that she's holding onto more than the offer... NO DEAL! 13 (Leyla) - $400,000 Banker looks good in this. Banker's up there lovin' it.
It's still a dealer's board. But it's all about how Denise feels about this offer. The family wants her to deal... NO DEAL! 19 (Amanza) - $400 Great case. That's going to make the offer great...
Husband says one more. Sister says deal. With a 60% chance that she's sitting on less than the offer... Denise listens... to her sister. DEAL for $95,000! A lot of money, but was it a good deal? Kelly had $100,000. Banker would've offered $223,000. Sara had the penny case. Bank would've offered $345,000. Patricia had $750. Final offer would've been. $511,000. So it's either a good deal or a good bit of remorse for Denise. In her case...
